The book of Job brought me back when I had backslid so far that I had nearly caught death. Handling the turmoils of others lead me to an increased lack of Faith via what I now see as a sinful and arbitrary opinion of God. Here I believe is the rub for Job. ; he made sacrifice for the sins of others although he was pure in his own life (chapter 1 vs5) Such salvation however can only come through the heart of the self through Christ and our own repentance, not the repentance of another. God relieved Job of his false sense of self and set him back towards God alone. This has been my path since returning to God. Selah 🙏🏻 Amen

Thank you pastor Guzik, You have greatly blessed me and comforted me by your message, thanks be to God 🙌 My 18 yr old son passed away 4 weeks ago and by the grace of God I found myself saying the words of Job in Ch 1:21. It is hard everyday but I know that just as I trusted the Lord with my salvation in 2017 I can continue to trust Him with the most intense pain and adversity in my life. May the Lord continue to work in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. In Jesus name. God bless you brother.

I love the story of Job, a true hero in God's kingdom. Especially chapter 19::25-27 where job's belief that he would see God in his perfect body and see God face to face. Very good message Pastor Guzik.

The devil is on a leash and God holds the other end. He is God’s devil and can only do what he is allowed, to accomplish God’s purposes. Read the little John Piper book ‘Spectacular Sins’ to see how God brought the greatest good from the worst wickedness that happened at Calvary.
