I mean penguin is obviously a villian, but hes a smart one who knows how to consolidate power. Look at what happened to all the other gang leaders. Their second in commands, their most trusted right hand men, are the ones who betrayed them and took their spots. Its how penguin got to the top and how everyone else did too. Nothing anyone does in this show is justified, not even vic joining up with penguin in the first place. In my opinion, his willingness to go that far, is what separates him from a villain to a super villain.

Was waiting for this reaction. The ending reminded me of Big L's Street Struck. Vic should've left with his GF when he had the chance. Vic was street struck, and it took did him dirty at the end. Makes me wonder if he knew what Oz did to his brothers, would he have still be loyal to him. Best Show I've seen this year imo.

You know a show hit it out of the park when they give you a little taste of sympathy for him, and then at the end remind you that you should never have sympathy for the devil walking the streets of Gotham. When Penguin meets his eventual end, he'll have deserved it. And no tears will be shed.
