Germans take the forefront of innovation in Europe and always have. Peak performance is hardwired into the culture. I think their diets played an integral role in their culture’s success. Sauerkraut, Raw foods, and other fermented veggies along w lots of meat and seasonal fruits and vegetables seems like the key to the german tanks of the 1900s.

As much as I agree with all of this let's not forget that your morning ritual is strictly dependent on your evening ritual. If you slept badly or shortly it's not important what you do in the morning. Having said that, I like the idea of some stretches in bed just after waking up. I'll try to do that. It sounds beyond convenient. :)

Going for a short 10 min run in the morning changed my life. Not enough to make you tired, just enough to get the juices flowing. It's a huge boost for energy and mood throughout the day. I'm so much more productive and happy all day when I run in the morning.

Work out in the morning -include mobility training in morning ritual fx when snoozing og brushing teeth 4. Breakfast -If hungry eat breakfast -if not, don't eat breakfast

I move accross the room and chill in a recliner after hitting the snooze. I also have a 15 minute snooze that i use to time each morning activity. It's just a light beep every 15 minutes to guage my timing with. First beep after chilling in the chair Second beep fully showered and dried off. Third beep fully dressed and out the door with coffee in hand. I'm usually done way before each beep but it helps on the slow groggy days and it keeps me from rushing each activity. I hate being in a hurry.

Apparently not having a partner or family. put the alarm to the other end of the room, waking up the whole house :) Stretching while brushing teeth. What's to brush in the morning? I rarely brush, only floss after dinner. Not eating sugar helps. Apart from that, good tips. I include most of my stretches in my breakfast squat. I can get out of bed and be ready to leave home inside of 30 minutes. I like to stretch that to an hour though and tend to get up early. due to shift work, the earliest time I can get to bed consistently is 10:30 pm, so I get up at 5:30 everyday. anyhow, thanks for all the videos. wish I'd have the space and time that you guys have. well done.

However, do you have any advice to help morning physical stiffness? Great video, I've been doing the stretches from your ~ 2018 video every morning. I would add: 1. a quick "thank you for this day" upon waking up. Call it prayer, call it whatever you'd like but worthwhile for me to be grateful to awaken healthy in a comfortable home. 2. I love my "sunrise" alarm clock - Philips makes one that mimics a sunrise; starts dim and orange and ends, 20 minutes later, bright and white. It really makes waking up less stressful. 3. I do some simple lower back stretches in the shower with the hot water on my back, then more stretching afterwards. My back muscles feel more relaxed post shower. 4. I brush my teeth while hovering on a balance board. Kinda weird but balance, to me, in my mid-50's, is nearly as important as stretching.
