I'd expect a watch of this style to have 100m water resistance, so 150m is a bonus from my perspective. Another great Christopher Ward, and the video isnt bad either.

CW is really awesome. They have such cool options and they offer Rolex quality but not at Rolex prices... I said it the other day but I will mention it again. If James Bond had to chose a watch in 2025 it would most likely be a CW. Loki huh... Must be the gold and green colors. Hope you have a great week Jason!

@@JasonTheWatchGuy I guess it would depend on the Bond...Craig might do the Twelve X (Ti) where Brosman would probably wear the C60 Trident Pro 300. Id like to think Moore being a man of style and class would go for the C65 Dartmouth Series 2 in blue where Connery being the wildest of them would need a watch that has been combat tested like the C65 Sandhurst Series 2. What do you think?

I myself have the blue c65 vintage dive watch and love it ,I'm looking at a mk1 Cranwell love the look of it.I do like the dune but I'm not the biggest fan of bronze watches but I'd take a stainless steel one all day long ,nevertheless another great review as ever Jason thanks mate

I think this one is nice, but I'd have to see the textured dial in person first. I missed out on getting the previous iteration of this since they discontinued it; had a gorgeous sunburst green dial instead with a date function. Still kicking myself!

I would rather this over the Rolex explorer it’s not so boring movement is just as good & it’s got a way better dial you just pay 10x the price just for the Rolex name & they’re gonna treat you like shit at the AD

Speaking from experience, I would always take the Explorer over the Dune, but the difference between them is a LOT closer than the £5000 price difference suggests. The Dune is a truly excellent watch. The Bronze/Green actually gets more complements than the Explorer and the lume is better than the Explorer, Black Bay and many others.

It's strange how much that brand name adds to the pricing. I'm a huge fan of heritage but at some point you have to think, is it worth that price difference?

@@JasonTheWatchGuy With the Rolex, you are paying for the name, but also: gold hands & indices, a much better engineered movement, better steel, a better bracelet & clasp, and anti-magnetic properties. I wouldn’t wear my CW when working with magnets.

Yes, yes it is! Design, swiss made, quality of the piece overall. This is worth well more in my opinion, especially considering the COSC calibre. You can't really compare the Chinese market to the Swiss considering the Chinese puts so little into their "design". Don't get me wrong, love an aliexpress piece but it's like comparing a Dacia and a Ferrari
