Yea so I think that there is an appeal to the 3D. and there are some areas that look great like Ballonlea, parts of Motostoke, and the starter town. It's just from there and in the wild area specifically lots of lost opportunities

IMO the stadiums and dynamax are only good on paper but were awful in practice. The Stadiums are all too similar to each other; the coliseums of Orre in Pokémon Colosseum/XD and especially the ones in Battle Revolutions had far more visual appeal and diversity than Galar’s. And Colosseum/XD and PBR are 20-year-old and 16-year-old games on 23-year-old graphics hardware… And Dynamax comes off the heels of my biggest problem with (mainline) Pokémon in 3D: the scaling of the Pokémon are all wrong in Sw/Sh and Dynamax doesn’t fix it; Wailord in Colosseum/XD/PBR was its native size which is as large as a lot of Dynamax Pokémon, but in Sw/Sh Wailord doesn’t look much larger than the trainer, and when dynamaxed and facing another dynamaxed Pokémon, Wailord should be much larger than its opponent but it isn’t. Thankfully Legends Arceus *finally* got it right.

The games are made for kids is such a stupid argument to defend easy games. ADULTS are the ones that play games on easy mode becuase adults dont have the time to get good. Hey idk if you’re still interested in this hack, but the original dev dropped a big update, adding some new graphics, side quests and overhauling the dynamax adventure (less faithful but more fun). I just finished the translation and am working with a team of testers to make sure it’s polished. Should be releasing in the next few weeks

it actually makes sense for Raihan as his gym is double battle weather dragons and since Duraladon is a steel type sandstorm makes the most sense for Raihan too use and since no dragon types can have sand stream closest being Tyranitar who is dragon like (plus Lance has 1 in the manga) using Gigalith makes sense as for sandaconda I believe Gamefreak gave Raihan one for 2 reasons 1# to make half his team Gen 8 pokemon 2# to reset sandstorm incase players either: Change the weather, negate the weather e.g. cloud nine or just simply stall out Gigaliths sandstorm

For the National Pokédex thingy: - As more and more Pokémon are available, the task for completing it becomes harder and harder. So I am okay for it to be left out.* - All Pokémon should be transferable though. - Competitions only use Pokémon available in the current generation. * : They really need to make catching faster and diverse. Let's Go catching could be recycled for Safari Zone. Safari Zone could be recycled as a Terrarium for regional Pokémon to appear. Legends catching could also come back on wild areas, or at least for low level or easy to catch Pokémon. Then, the traditional battling and catching could be used on Boss Pokémon.

Sword and shield was your first so there will obviously be a lot of bias, but I do recommend checking out the older games so that you can understand what you have been missing this entire time back when the games were actually peak. Play it on an emulator if you must.

So by the time swsh released he could’ve already had been able to pick and buy LGPE. And he said his first game was swsh which means he bought swsh way after the release of LGPE, he had the option to buy LGPE but he didn’t so swsh ended up being his introduction to Pokémon. It should have actually had been LGPE.

Demaking would've been more accurate, but for fan games 3D is sure gonna be tricky. I think there might be some Roblox variants that come close but if you're looking for rom hacks/ fan games of 3d you might have to wait a while

One time i got softlocked in Moltres's cave in red expansion pak and had to use walk through walls to get out. The door shouldn't be too hard to get to with that right? This rom hack was very good had a blast playing it on my pc, it really makes me amaze that this was a rom hack of firered it legit felt like it was a fangame made with rpg maker, well i really liked the features and visual upgrades in the rom hack. The only problem i have about this rom hack was its difficulty (with less grinding methods like you cant even do trainer rematch), and the soundtracks: it would have been better if they used sword and shield soundtrack (by converting them to gba soundfont) i really dont like that they used normal trainer theme for literally all battles in the game (even for champion leon) and using normal wild battle theme for eternatus, it was very disappointing, but well i guess it is still a pretty impressive rom hack

This is interesting because I just started playing ultra sun and moon on an emulator and was thinking I was crazy for wanting them to go back to a format closer to this or ultra sun and moon. Look at Dragon Quest xi 3d and 3d and 3ds version is unique. Same for ffxv, they have a pocket edition, also dragon quest x offline for the story. So it's doable, clearly many fans for free remake all these games better in 2d. In general, whenever someone makes smash ultimate on 64 or whatever. Dear Nintendo, Don't arrest these people. Hire them, make them your own. Look at all these basic things fans like and ask for. National Dex, overworld sprites. Standard old news. Easy. It's maddening that tons of Pokémon clone games are leagues ahead of official Nintendo. Meanwhile, shin megami tensei 3, 5, vengeance. Dragon Quest Monsters 3: The Dark Prince. Monster Hunter stories. All on switch. P.s. on those games, catching and fusing monsters is a standard. Meanwhile, they make updates and patch date plans, which never come to fruition on Pokémon games.

I'm a big DQ fan, but I thought Dragon Quest Monsters 3 had the opposite problem of Pokemon. Amazing overworld, graphically awesome, story pretty good. The battling just got boring quick! That's one thing I think Pokemon usually nails is the battling. If they fused the two I think we'd have a really good game

Pokemon conquest for the DS is that. Highly recommend you give it a shot. I recommend using cheat codes because some pokemon (croagunk, riolu, gible etc.) are locked behind super rare events. Other than that the game is a lot of fun and there are so many campaigns, from easy to hard.

I support Pokémon being like an anime by design. Ken Sugimori was inspired by Akira Toriyama, and the former's character designs are better than what the SV characters look like. You can still have the new fun gameplay features in the Japanese regions.

The 3d models for Pokemon tekken game are actually very good looking. It shows that 3d models definitely can work for the franchise but they only have like 12 characters so they have more time. I'm gonna be honest, I'll agree that Pokémon story's have never been great. But I do think that Black and White as well as Black 2 and White 2 did something really special with theirs. Definitely worth a play. Also a little controversial while Scarlet and Violet were not great games graphic or technicalnl wise, they did have a pretty good story that actually made me feel a little. I feel like that story gets overshadowed by the technical problems cause it wasn't all bad. Finally, graphics should have stayed 2d like the Octopath Traveler games or been actually fun and lively like in Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness and Pokémon Colosseum

​​​@@shoopwoop3470 leveling up in BW is easy than its predecessors, leaving a low level mon in first place in party then switching it will receive the same amount of high XP for both, and not low XP like in the other generations. overall is pretty much like any pokemon game before exp. share was introduced in grinding level, I still play a lot BW2 because the amount of things to do in post-game is insanely fun, for the first time i felt i was in my own adventure with my own choices in a pokemon game

Yeah I loved Kalos story but team Flare, the gyms and the league it was just stupidly easy ORAS was still easy but at least nowhere near as bad as XY lack of challenge Sun and Moon: the only challenge was not dying of boredom from the laggy HP bars 🙄 Ultra Sun and Moon: lesser then target practice I beat U.moon half asleep with only 2 battles all game even putting me at 55% awake (Kiawe trial and necrozma) Alola was so easy I beat it with an almost all dark type team: Incineroar Umbreon Zoroark Mega Gyarados Tyranitar Dusk Lycanroc Island trials besides Kiawe: Snooze fest Rainbow Rocket: Giovanni was the only one to beat even 1 of my pokemon 😂 League: Cleared even faster then the kalos league Hau: Not only did he fail to defeat ANY of my pokemon everytime I battled him but besides the first rival battle my pokemon never even hit HALF HP Team Skull: Plumeria was the only one worth battling The Tapus: Don't even remember how fast I caught them Red: His Mt Silver battle he was not Blue: Embarrassing The Battle tree: Easy The only real challenge I had was trying to find Suicune in the ultra worm holes 😂
