I felt my heart drop when I heard that the members were forced to strip and be physically abused on camera. They really took advantage of these women's vulnerable position... I'm glad that all of them seem to be doing better now, but it's so unfair that the company never faced legal consequences for mistreating their artists. Thank you for such an interesting video!

I'm glad she's exposing their mistreatment. Sadly many idols not just in japan have to go through similar things and a lot of idols are also in debt simply by going through the training process.

It doesn't seem to be uncommon that poor J-POP and K-POP groups are essentially threatened by debts to remain in the groups and end up being forced to do things they don't want to. But at least they generally get paid and don't have to resort to side-jobs, usually. This seems like a horrible experience. That said, it's good Marie doesn't regret her time there and it was a unique experience. I feel bad for the girl who was pretty much used for slapstick, though, so I hope she'd doing better.

Hearing about what Saito was doing to them and how he exploited them for fun was really REALLY gross. Just straight up physically abusing them (I’m sure emotional, mental, and financial abuse happened) for funsies is just hard to see. This group makes me think of this new Korean survival show called Button Game. A former MIXX member is joining with $50k USD in debt with hospital bills. 9 people are going to compete with their survival skills to win money to pay off their debt. I really think the girls could've become successful in paying off their debts and maybe even earn extra money for a living by the management making right promoting decisions. But quiet the opposite, the management crew destroyed the group's chances to become successful. I feel like the girls themselves, without the crew and the company could've become successful itself. And being sexualy harrased and being hit and kicked and abused on camera is so disgusting. It's sad to see that the margarines did not see the bright future they were expecting.

I can’t believe some Kpop idols currently do not make any money… it’s understandable when it’s a small company & the group absolutely ranks (although it is EQUALLY DEVASTATING for the individuals who have given up so much of their lives, most often leaving school to attend training & follow their dreams only to be met with failure & even debt). When from larger companies, it’s a bigger shock, like BlockBerry Creative, which IS WHAT IT IS due to Loona yet the girls have received nothing. I can’t believe it…… & yet I can… the Loona members have not seen a single can’t since debut in October 2016 (!!!) & Chuu hasn’t received anything from all of her solo work. I don’t follow Loona closely, though I have a few songs I like very much. I understand that the company utilized a tremendous amount of money on the group / girls, but to see NOTHING whatsoever? That’s entirely unethical & I don’t care about whatever one says to the opposite. This. Is. NOT. Right! BBE is evidently handling their finances incorrectly & I bet there are some VERY greedy board members at the company. It’s heartbreaking for them. No wonder Chuu left.

The producers disgust me. How can you get mad at someone for not wanting to be hit? And I don't like that he made them strip. It would be one thing, if they actually wanted to do it, but if someone is uncomfortable with it, don't force them. And keep in mind, this is Japan. The women there are dressed more conservatively. So there's a good chance these women were uncomfortable in their bikinis.
