I quotr my own comment:It's all about decision. Recently when I was hangging out with uncle, he confidently told me that he will need me to help a hand at his family party. I siad nothing, because what he said is bullshit to me, I am a manager myslef and indepedent of him, I have no business with him nor need his help. Later, I went to the party as his guess, he scolded me for not helping. I kept silence and walked away. He cant do anything to me, in spite of how angry he was. He called me several times, after a week, I finally answered his call. Guess what: he called for a woeek just to complain of thr matter. I cant belive it and in the verse of overwhelming with his nonsese, I talked back and for 15 minutes taljing back and forward, I quit the call and reallized that I blew all the silence and made myslef a fool by argueing with a fool. I am afool now

I am a musician myself. Since I was young I usually sat away from my siblings and watched them. My father used to observed me but became immuned to my being quiet and soft spoken. I excelled in school, a sub teacher in grade school but then I preferred to be in the corner and read books alone while on breaks. it is a pattern that I brought along with me till my adult life. My being observant sharpen my perspective and reading movements of people. When I'm at work, I made sure my personality have been delivered to my guests by the kind of music I am doing altho I spoken and mingle with people in times and yet I am more at peace being alone and observing others. There's something rewarding being quiet that many people misunderstood or didn't know.

Silence is a great form of self discipline, just because you have a reply don’t mean you have to use it. One of the greatest things I learned growing up is that not everyone deserves your energy or reply. Talking is cheap and easy, try the alternative and see how much wonders it makes 😁

I wrote down in my journal: "The sounds we make are the echoes of how we are in our times of silence".... He that holds no silence will then surely become an echo chamber of noises from the outside, with no inner awareness, and not much gravity held to his words. But to the one that finds inner silence, his awareness will shine on those echoes that no longer deserve to be held within; behold, a new way of being may be born with silence.

I am very much of an extrovert, love people, parties and socializing with people I like. BUT, I also love spending time by myself. It helps to restore, renew my strength and keeps me balanced. It gives me time to evaluate my life, spend time with my thoughts and meditate. Silence balances out all the noise in our world too. No TV, computer, phone or radio for a few hours.....just me and my own thoughts. It can be as heavenly as spending time with someone I really love. Each has its advantages if your in balance with and at peace with yourself.

@fatboi lokó But, that doesn't mean silence ; that silence is not a powerful element.
@lolatoa5815 жыл бұрын
@fatboi lokó No , that's not how silence works, it seems like you don't get it. And , yes I believe in god , so what ? This are my beliefs , and i don't believe it out of the "rumors" no , I believe it , because I saw it , not that it actually matters if you believe me or not , thus when I was talking about silence being gold I didn't mean it in that way , no. So , you don't understand it at all, and not saying you can't understand it ,or embrace it . . ., because I know you can understand the value of silence , and understand it. Maybe , I suggest passing a certain amount of your time in peacefully relaxing silence , and maybe you'll understand. *this comment was sincerely not to offend you*

I once worked for a boss who was top woman in one African country, she lost her temper on me one day and humiliated me Infront of my colleague. Well I felt down and sad, I never said a word, never showed any emotions. I prayed, to God to show me the way. 2 months past, I found my way out. One morning, I just packed my staff, told no body that I was leaving. I just told her that I was going to look after my sick mom and left. It's been 20years now never seen each or spoken to each otherI forgave her, but she regrated humiliating me because her husband still wondering why I left. That's called power of silence.

When I'm silent, big 🎧 headphones are on my head with loud music 🎶 🎶. Where there's silence there's music

I agree that quiet people are creative. I have observed that I create many solutions to issues that arise from my work. I evaluate the situation and prepare a plan that can eliminate or minimize the challenge.

Really? I find that interesting because I'm currently trying to connect with the almighty. I pray a lot but I didn't know God speaks through silence.

Tyler Williams , when your mind is completely at rest, and you have complete peace of mind, your mind becomes silent and when you pray at that time, you will hear.

When you talk to Jesus that sounds normal but when Jesus talk to you that’s abnormal ( auditory hallucination ).

I am usually extroverted. But most of the students on my course don’t say much or express themselves. So now I’m trying to change my whole personality and become silent to not be the one who stands out. I MEAN IS IT EVEN NORMAL TO BE SILENT??? WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS WHO WERE CREATED TO EXPESS TALK LAUGH FLIPPING CRY!!! It is too energy consuming to be silent and be something I am not. But you know what I will stfu and let people wonder about me. I need a forum space where I can meet with loud and creative people where we can have real debates and discussions and express ourselves otherwise I’m gonna explode! I have a lot to say. This is my personality I need to express!!! Geesh maybe Covid is making it worse because at least I had the gym to burn some steam everyday.

Silence 🤐🤫 isnt always golden sometimes it betrayal. As mlk said and today is his birthday, and I will paraphrase, we shouldnt remember the word of our enemy, but the silence🤐🤫 of our friend.
