It's been almost 2 months since the break up and 21 days no contact. I did begged and pleaded because I did love him so much. But Coach Lee save me♥️ The moment I watched his videos, it awakened me. I let him go, work on myself, bring back my self-respect and be a better version of myself. He did reached out a few times saying he misses me a lot and even offered friendship but I decline it. I still think of him and even miss him it's just a normal phase but I became better each day. I'm waiting for the day I can fully get over him. This type of thinking works well for helping you feel better within yourself, but it implies that you are exempt from any responsibility. I recognize that in my case, them losing attraction or my attraction lowering is a result of what I was doing consciously or subconsciously. It felt right until you or them does something that makes it not feel right anymore. I don’t believe that just because it doesn’t feel right it isn’t right, like coach lee says a lot, feelings can change, and often do.

Walked away 3 months ago. Won't lie, those first few weeks hurt and I still have some off days, but my stress is lower, my anxiety is lessened, and every day I feel more confident and happy. Hang in there, peeps, it's a rough road you're on but I believe in you and will share with you a mantra that has helped me through many days: "You are where you're exactly supposed to be". You never know what tomorrow brings, but know that you're not alone and that you got this - better days are on the horizon.

Mine did the same thing, so I scorched earth everything I could find and just spent time refocusing on friends, family, and things I wanted to do. I still miss her, but when I get reminded of her or think about her I just do my best to think about something else. Oh, and no shame in it, I saw a therapist, too.

@@sonama1734 Hang in there. Mine left 5 weeks ago, but she started dating and now I don't want her back. I would always wonder if she thinks of someone else if we got back. We were together 24 years. She left without looking back for a minute, which tells me there was probably someone there before she left. I loved her with all of my heart. We raised my son together, but in the end, it doesn't matter anymore. I still feel anxious too, but I have to ride it out.

It has been 8 days of NC. He has messaged me almost everyday. I am trying to keep it casual as Coach Lee teaches us. The curiosity stage has already started for him. But he does not have the privilege of knowing what is going on in my life anymore. I hope to improve myself and when I look back I want to be proud of me. If he is going to be in my life. Thank you coach Lee for all the strength you inspire. In my case, I walked away because he was intermittent and took me for granted. Somehow he managed to make me feel guilty and inadequate. Had never met someone so damaged, so spiritually dark. Tried and tried to understand him, to be unconditional and all I got in return was indifference. Nothing left there for me but to walk away. Same thing happened to me. He said he loves me and wants a relationship but cannot commit to consistency and communication. I asked him are we gonna build a relationship out of that dynamic? I understand that he was in a dark place too, but i cannot live like that having my nervous system triggered all the time. I have some faults too but he was unwilling to compromise and went silent treatment on me, so i returned the favor and now am walking away. I still love him, i know i am broken too. I wanted to work things out with him no matter how dark and scary it was, i just needed the reassurance that he will do the same. I didn't get the reassurance, because he'd rather suffer with his dark thoughts than give me the joy to go through with him in his dark days, which i said i am willing to do that. His detachment was unmatched and it made me so anxious. Wishing him peace and happiness though. I love him still but hoping to get over him soon. Hopefully very very soon. As my heart still bleeds but am tired of loving him from afar -on my mind. Some days i just want to die. I'm asking myself where i went wrong, maybe i should have understand him more. I basically did the opposite of what my emotions told me to do. My girlfriend of 2 years said she needed time to figure things out. This was 2 months ago. I told her that I loved her & agreed. It's been 6 weeks since she came over last & her stuff is still at my house. She came over twice by the way to pick it up & still hasn't picked up all of it. These videos have been a blessing towards healing my broken heart, I truly thank you with all my heart coach Lee. I'm just full of regret that I didn't find your advice sooner because I feel the ship to rekindle our relationship has sailed - I met a girl who I thought was the 'love of my life' and we fell head over heels for eachother. Within a a couple of months of meeting we traveled together, exploring, adventures, seasonal work, and she extended her holiday to stay with me another 6 months. We argued at times, mainly her towards me - the general theme being she thought she was far more into me, than I was to her. I've just always found it hard to express my emotions, sadly. After a year of bring together almost every day, things started to hit a low before she was planning on returning home overseas.. she wanted me to come but at the time I felt there were so many hurdles to just follow my heart and leave with her. She got home and she was broken, extremely moody and obviously hurting. I was occupied with work and a busy life so it didn't affect me so much, I was always there to comfort her, we talked every day. After two and a half months of being (I guess) apart, she was on a trip and I felt the distance between us suddenly appear, like the flick of a switch. The silence grew suddenly, I reached out to ask if we should be moving on, and she said she doesn't know, she's confused. Two weeks later she broke up with me, citing she wants to feel loved, and wants more than what we had. This is where all my regrets started, I just couldn't control my emotions. I begged, I pleaded, I tried to debate why we should be together, how amazing we were, and how we can make it work. I said I'd come to you, that I've changed my mind and realise how much I want to do anything to be with you. I didn't realise at the time that I was probably hurt more by the rejection than the loss of her. She never wanted to call after the breakup, but we continued to txt almost everyday after that, and about once every two weeks I would break down and say how much I miss her, and still have so much hope of being together again. I've found hope to be so destructive, when it comes to heartbreak. Two months after the breakup I said I'm done, if you don't want to try and even work things out it's best I move on, and not talk. Just a few days later she told me I'm still her (pet name). Regretfully I replied straight away with you're still mine too, and I miss you, with more texts full of excitement. I think she was just sad when she said this, she was saying things like you'd be so much happier with someone else, if I was still with you I'd just bring you down. She soon went colder again, but we continued to txt regularly, she wanted me there, as a friend she said, because we had "such great times, we get along, and it would be sad to not be in tough with you anymore". 4 months after the breakup I travelled to her home country, she said she is happy to see me but she doesn't want to travell with me, as I did with her in my home country. I played it cool, I wasn't going there specifically to see her, I love to travel, but deep down a part of me really did just go... for love. We hung out and it was generally nice, there was the odd time I couldn't help but bring up the past, and ask questions.. this definitely didn't help as she just reasserted her reasons and I could tell her attraction for me had faded so so much - this really hurt. She said she wouldn't get back together with me right now becuase she couldn't stand going through the hurt of the breakup again (knowing how much it hurt me).. and who knows, maybe we will see eachother again in the future, 2 years or so. So we hung out, went out for dinners, explored, we stayed over together, nothing more intimate than some cuddles in the morning. She could tell I wanted to, but she said she doesn't want to confuse me any more.. totally respect that. As much as I wanted to stay, after 4 days I felt my welcome was up, and I carried on my journey. I felt like this should have given me some kind of closure, but instead I think it has just prolonged my healing, and I now feel so lost. My will to keep on travelling has hit a rut, I feel so anxious and lonely. I just want to be home surrounded by friends and family, but here I am in a foreign country all alone, trying to keep a positive outlook and a smile on my face. Sadly it was only now I discovered your videos by searching 'how to get over your ex' and it has been a blessing. I'm in day 6 of no contact and it hasn't got much easier, but I'll hang in there. I feel like I'm too late to fix things, like she started her grieving process from the moment she returned home, while I only did months later when she broke up with me. Perhaps not though since we have been in contact the whole time. I'll try my best to not think about her, and stay in no contact, but I don't want to keep on hoping for something to happen, it hurts too much... I want to do it to help heal my own broken heat. I am going to say this again. The Dumper is not always the bad guy, nor or they wrong. When someone is disrespecting and devaluing you then strong action is called for. When you can see that no amount of saying "Please treat me considerately and respectfully" is going to work you really have no choice but to end the relationship even though it hurts badly. Your dignity and value must be kept if you are going to have a successful relationship with anyone. The Ex may realize their behavior cost them more than they can accept and make a turn. You will have to decide then if this person is a good choice for your future. But if they don't, more than likely there will be someone who will understand all the good things you bring to the table and do whatever it takes to keep you close. RESPECT -> ADMIRATION -> LOVE Respecting yourself makes them respect you which turns into admiration which turns into LOVE. Be the person they put on a pedestal! They are begging you to do this.

Where do I begin? First I wanna begin by thanking you coach. I haven’t watched an entire video of yours in a couple months, but before that I was watching every one you put out & would rewatch most of them in hard times. My gf of 6 years broke up w me, I begged her to come back first two months then slowly began to back off.. that led me into doing no contact for eight months..through those 8 months we had very few encounters..seeing her drive, she came to see me once at my job and I texted her hbd, I left her alone and I spent that time working on me. Eating healthy, workin out & just working a lot focusing on me.. and yup you guessed it.. you came back. No contact works incredibly if you let it and focus on your own growth. On June 19 2022, I promised myself I’d come back 1 year later to comment on this video. Coach Lee, you really helped me get through my breakup. For you going through a breakup, you feel your heart has been ripped out of your chest. That’s normal. One thing I learned after a year is focus on 6 months : The first 2 months are gonna hurt so fcking much. Then month by month you’re never gonna be sure of who you were BEFORE them, so it’s gonna take about 4 months until you realized you grew. 6 months after the breakup you’re gonna realize you’re better off without them… sounds cliché right ? Trust me. Just do. It’s okay to focus on “no contact” because the hope you have numbs the pain of losing them. But week after week, no contact isn’t a chore anymore, it’s just normal and it feels great. If your ex broke up with you and actually decided that they are better off without you, let them have it and let them regret it by themself. Never run after someone who knows where to find you. You are better than that. Feel what you have to feel, sleep if you have to, wake up, exercise, smile because you’re alive. And never ever look back. It’s gonna be alright. I promise. 6 months is all you have to give. 6 months. Let’s go. ❤️

Omg, this couldn’t have come at the most perfect time. My ex broke up with me and a week later got back with her ex who she was with for years. We were still in each other’s lives everyday but she’d treat me badly and speak to me badly and I got fed up with it and our last conversation she told me to block her cos we are done and never come back and whilst she’d always say that when she got angry or frustrated, I’d try to make it work and chase her but this time I gave her what she wanted. It’s been 4 weeks now, I constantly see her block and unblock me, im in radio silence and off social media, and i still get anxiety cos she hasn’t reached out yet, but your words give me comfort and im holding on that she will contact me.
