thank you so much !! i haven’t talked about it & i’m not sure if i will since it’s very irregular & the plurals are exactly the same in amiya ... if people want me to address it though i certainly can

@@PalWebTV Oh, that's just me then because I haven't learned fusha and I'm learning dialect with my teacher so we'll get to it eventually. I just meant if it was something super simple like adding 's' or 'es' in Spanish, but if it's super complicated then don't bother. Thank you though!

I know I am late but, I still don't understand why it is that Forms AA and AW end differently, is it just cause? Like what about them in their first form cues for what makes it AA and AW. For clarification is there anything in the original "past" form in maza7a that would tell you its present conjugation is going to have a fatha in it?

Watching these for the second time as a refresher! I think I didn’t pay as much attention my first time around as I should have so I’m enjoying sitting down and really paying attention and can already see the difference in my comprehension! Great job!

At 20:35 the word you’re looking for is a subjunctive construction, and the name of the form itself is the subjunctive mood correct?

This is such a great video!! Just a few questions about things that got confusing for me: 1-you said قرا can be written asقرى, therefore being in the same category as مشى, but the latter gets its alif maksura changed to ي whereas قرا stays with the alif. 2- In Sound verbs, there could be one more form, If I'm not wrong. Like نزل, which carries qazra in both past and present. These were the things that remained unresolved in my head after the video. Could you please confirm or deny this?

1. that's correct. i think i was trying to show that in term of its root QARA is exactly like MASHA except that it's spelled differently for etymological reasons. however in term of its voweling it's like MAZA7 (MAZA7 -> BAMZA7 versus QARA -> BAQRA). 2. that's correct although i don't think NIZEL specifically works like this. one example is 3IMEL -> BI3MEL. that said the reality is that many verbs may fall into different conjugation patterns depending on the area or speaker so while for me NIZEL is I/A maybe for some people it's I/I (but again i don't think i've heard that personally). one example i can definitely confirm is that 3IREF (like 3IMEL) is I/I for me (i.e. 3IREF -> BI3REF) however i definitely know others use an I/A pattern (3IREF -> BI3RAF). it can occur with other types of verbs as well - e.g. for me 7ABB is A/I (7ABB -> BI7EBB) but for some people it's A/O (7ABB -> BI7OBB).

A very interesting and worthwhile to watch video. The subject indeed can seem super-difficult and complex at first, and I actually almost lost all hope about the different categories of verbs until the author said the following (with his eyes rolling about the Modern Standard Arabic-verb vowel-rules): "Actually this is a huge simplication from Fusha, because in Fusha, you have a bunch of different [vowel] combinations, and it just makes it a nightmare to really learn".

I love Palestine. I love Palestinians, but then I decided to learn Egyptian dialect since it has more learning resources and it's a lot easier to find Egyptian through language exchange app. And now I have no idea why I'm watching your video 👍😂 keep going brother. I think I'd like to learn the Egyptian dialect along with the Palestinian dialect even though I know that it will cause my brain to boil 🇵🇸🇮🇩 Greeting from Indonesia
