From my experience the outcome is beneficial to the local wildlife. My favorite story about Roosevelt is one my seventh grade teacher told me: once, some members of the presidential cabinet were sitting in a room when Teddy burst saying, at the top of his lungs: "you won't believe it!" The members of the cabinet were worried that the US was going to war, but Teddy said "there is a squirrel on the lawn that does not match the description of any known squirrel species!".

@@benn454 I wouldn't because Washington had several characteristics that made Washington the only man capable of the job. (I will list just a couple due to my phone battery about to die). First, the mere fact that he was a Virginian allowed for the southern states to agree to this new union. Secondly, Washington's military prestige, and ability to work with next to nothing and still lead his men to fight the long and tiring war is impeccable and shows the kind of leader he was. Don't get me wrong, Lincoln was a great president (definitely top 5), but he could not accomplish the feats Washington had.

Even if it was historically and factually false. a love affair for hemmingway to out on safari (or "just" a day tripe to cuba or panama). Even if itwas actually an excuse to get help ranging political issues or a small bit of downtime. That doesn't even touch on his um...colorful language. That gulled even people of that time? yeah that's biographic nightmare. lol even if it was just fact that blacks weren't ever called "afro can americans' until a lot latter and simply called N-word or negro's and no one batted an eye, or the numerous times he cursed idiots just to have a smoke and whiskey? mmmmm ok so yeah your right lol

One of the GREATS quotes of ALL time was written by him in 1907. "In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American... There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one language here, and this is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is the loyalty to the American people."

Come to Long Island New York and make a reservation to tour his home which is maintained by the National Parks Service. It is a true representation of the man who built it and the family who lived there. The bad ass nature of Roosevelt carried through to his son Ted Jr. whose house is on the same grounds, is largely dedicated to a museum, and won the MoH at Utah beach during the D-Day invasion. The oldest man going ashore and walking with a cane, his forces dropped off at the wrong location and under German fire he attacked the enemy positions and claimed the first beach on D-Day.

@@TroIIingThemSoftly I've seen this theme a fair amount in the comment section and honestly it would be demoralizing to see a former president and a current president have a physical confrontation. And countries don't throw fists at each other they throw bombs and bullets.

Theodore Roosevelt (he greatly disliked being called Teddy) once brought a fist to a gunfight...and won. The story goes that while ranching in Dakota territory, Roosevelt was enjoying a drink at a local saloon when a man walked in with a gun, which he drew and then ordered a round for the house...on Roosevelt. Theodore didn't appreciate this one bit, so he stood and immediately clocked the man square in his jaw, putting him on the floor and out cold.
