Can someone explain something? I got this Ryobi 1800psi 1.2gpm washer and I learned you can change the nozzle so that you can play with the GPM and the psi. So i order the 3.0 mm nozzles. The stock nozzle says 15017. So i guess is 1.7mm but then when I used the 15030 i didn't see any difference in the flow but i heard the pump was being overworked it sounded just like when a car needs to shift gear... I though bigger orifice would make it work less but it sounds the opposite to me, louder and faster Why is that? and this is with all the 3.0 nozzles.

I have the smallest one as a secondary it it really packs a punch for the size and portability. The difference in foaming is noticeable but no so that it’s not adequate and that comes down to the gpm. In reality you don’t want large amounts of pressure. The biggest thing you’re absolutely not getting is the build quality, longevity and serviceability you get with professional grade pressure washers.
@tier1detailing3 жыл бұрын
What Clarity Auto Details said. Also, a benefit of having 1.2 GPM for mobile detailers is the water savings. Some detailers carry a tank for deionized water for the rinse cycle, which isn't the cheapest, so the fewest acceptable GPM the better. Also, the smaller the water tank you have to carry around, the more room you have in your van
