One other thing about Angron. In some book cant remember which, he had a rare inteaction with sanguinus. In it Angron was able to share the pain of the butchers nail for a moment with him. And shortly thereafter Sang vomited and asked you feel that all the time, how can you live like that? Even another primarch found the butchers nail insane

He ate the entire fridge after eating all the meat, drank all the booze, stole all of my spare character sheets to made a ton of druid/barbarian multiclass characters with "wolf" somewhere in the name while insisting that druids don't use magic just nature spirits, before then pissing on all the furniture like an untrained dog to "assert his ownership". @@Nobody-zl3kk I'm obviously not the OP but if I had to guess it might be the fact how the book ends with (massive spoiler warning for the book of course) Corvus killing all his loyal sons who were degenerating due to having chaos corrupted geneseed (known as the Raptors but not to be confused with the jump pack troops, these guys were basically bestial space marines who could barely talk or use weapons as they degenerated). Originally Corvus intended to sacrifice himself and them in a last stand where Russ was being sieged by approaching alpha legion and thousand sons to wash away his perceived sins but he changed his mind at the last moment, killed his chaos corrupted sons himself and left his legion to spend the next 10,000 years in the Eye of Terror bullying Lorgar. I do really like his introduction and his talks with his adopted sister though. My guy climbs out of a gestation tube, sees a prison overseer bullying a young girl and proceeds to decapitate him with his bare hands before gifting the head to the young girl who is understandably a little shocked. It's interesting how similar this story is to one of Sevetar, a prominent Night Lord, showing how the difference between the legions was less a matter of character as it was of circumstance.

For the 11th Primarch there is one more potential thing: in the Emperor's vaults beneath tha palace there is one door that hasn't been opened since before the heresy. The only record of what's inside is just listed as "subject eleven". So the primarch (or his corpse) is probably there.

I don't know where it came from. Or if it's even Canon or not. But I think it's written somewhere that when he was still whole, Angron had the ability to take away or take on other people's suffering and pain. If it's true it makes his fall even more tragic to me. As it hints to a true nature for him that's so far removed from what he was cursed to be.

Unlike the rest of the traitor Primarchs, Mortarion didnt willingly turn to chaos, his entire legion was being unendingly tortured by Nurgle, with only Mortarion being able to withstand it, due to his childhood. He eventually accepts Nurgle to save his legion. It is most likely why Big E, tell Mortarion that he can still be redeemed when Big E posses Robot Gorilla's dead body, and revives it.

One would keep me distracted with deceptions and subterfuge while the other one goes through my internet history to share on the internet and/or change all of my passwords. They'd also be really creepy and characteristically boring. And I'd rather be able to fly for only 10 minutes a day rather than propel myself through the air with shit out of my ass like FLUDD in Super Mario Sunshine.

I heard through the grapevine, from a little birdie who heard it through word of mouth, that the real reason why we have 2 lost primarchs is NOT because they "wanted 2 open slots for OC's" but actually because they over promised and under delivered. Pretty much came up with 18 ideas and ran out for the last 2. Which would make sense, since you know, any homebrew isn't allowed to be lost primarchs and there's literally 0 information about them except "DON'T TALK ABOUT IT!"

I can't recall the source so take this with a grain of salt but to further the sadness in Angron story his primarch powers apparently were related to empathy and taking the pain from his gladiators friends after the battles but they were stripped from him with the implantation of the butcher nails

This is not necessarily canon anymore but according to one of the original writers the initial idea for the lost primarchs was they “failed” but redeemed themselves before they died/disappeared. Hence them being forgotten was actually a way of erasing their mistakes. Bare in mind that this is not concrete anymore though.

To add insult to injury, in the descriptive language of anatomy - which also borrows heavily from Latin - 'manus' refers to the terminal segment of the forelimb (arm) which corresponds to the hand and wrist in us humies.
