Fear is the greatest motivator tbh. 99.9% of us serve Allah Ar-Razzaq out of fear for various things(health, work, relationship, home, etc.) We know that he can take it all away from us if we disobey/go against him. Now I'm not saying you cannot serve Allah Azawajal out of love. Not saying that. However...that is very difficult because we don't actually, physically experience miracles(in the traditional sense) but we most definitely experience things like depression, cancer, etc...so it's much easier to serve Allah out of fear because we simply experience pain a lot more than we do pleasure. Nonetheless, this life is simply a test and Inshallah we will all enter Jannah. BarakAllahu Feek

@@Wabbelpaddel There is free will in things you can choose and not free will in other things, you committed a fallacy called black and white fallacy that claims there is only two options to a matter. Lets say you have a choice to either go to a mosque or go to a club then in this case you had free will to choose then Allah rewards you or punishes you based on this choice. Later on (sometimes a few weeks, sometimes a few months, or sometimes in a few year's time) I do understand exactly why God decreed something that used to confuse me. It's because, when we learn more about religion, history, and the world in general, we increase in knowledge. And when we increase in knowledge we understand religion more. It's ironic that he mentions Ibn Taymiyyah @44:23. Whatever the failings of that particular scholar, Ibn Taymiyyah did not believe in an everlasting hell. Secondly, Zawadi's argument falls short. The exegesis he presents makes God's mercy, ultimately, subordinate to His sense of justice. By his own suppositions and sources, that is not the case in the Quran and most of the Hadith.Mercy reigns supreme for believer and non-believer alike in a final analysis hence the conclusion of Ibn Taymiyyah among other scholars, e.g., Ibn Arabi. Still, one could argue from an orthodox perspective, that God's mercy must not be made so explicit for fear of something akin to antinomianism amongst Muslims. Otherwise, it's a conclusion that fails the logical rigors, especially when confined to apologetics. As is often the case, Muslims, like so many other people of faith, abide by a veritable point system where they hope to tally enough good deeds to escape punishment. What they fail to realize is that the punishment itself is an abiding act of mercy to orient believers and non-believers alike. The straight path is the easiest path because the path of sin and dissolution remains an exhausting labyrinth. However, God Almighty finds us though even in the darkest of dark because His forgiveness and mercy remains an open invitation in this life and the next.

Quran 2:85: "..So do you believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part? Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allāh is not unaware of what you do."

Halfway through and verses in the Quran are connecting like dots in ways I just now realized. Spiritual treason is a accurate way to describe it. We took the trust and now need to fulfill our purpose. Also liked the argument for indirect control of belief, it's about caring and not making up excuses to not care and seek knowledge. How many times does Allah say not to just follow family? It's so illogical yet people roll with it as if they are making sense. Same goes for only studying the religion you grew up with, who said your birth dictates truth?

I am very happy that Allah talks about Hell in the Quran because I need to know so I can act accordingly. It will be a disservice to me if I’m only told about rewards and not punishments. Some of my actions are because I want the reward, but other actions are because I want to avoid punishment. Either way I need to know exactly what’s going to happen so I can plan my actions right. Alhamdoulillah ❤

No one goes to Hell unless they are convinced that they deserve it on the day of Judgment. Allah is the most merciful but also the most just.
@bouchagu40092 жыл бұрын
Totally agree. God explicitly describes hellfire dwellers as those who dispair from his mercy . There multiple hadiths as well about people going to paradise when they've commited so many sins in this life just because they truly believed in God's mercy and they begged for it humbly. There is also many mentions in the Quran that the arrogant are those who will be punished . A hafith qudsi also mentions that God will be how the servant imagines him to be so if he thinks God will have mercy on him He will and if he thinks he's going to show him only wrath and punishment, it will come to pass. SubhanaAllah

@@bouchagu4009 Those things could very well be true but don't forget that Allah Al-MU'IN can still send people to hell for a short period of time and then take them out. It is sickening to hear over and over again that allah tests us again and again. Is it for this reason that he created an imperfect world? If something good happens it is allah, and if it is something bad (covid, earthquake, "islamophobia", sickness, congenital defects....) allah is testing oe it is satan. And if we humans fail, or if we do not believe in him, he sends us eventually to hell for eternity. The narcissistic allah seems to find great sadistic pleasure in inflicting suffering on his creation. As test, for the admission in paradise, the believers has to worship thw narcissistic allah, who, it is said by allah himself, created mankind precisely for this purpose only..

@@gamingfactory150 I am critical because of the (potential) harm religion can do, especially islam, such as death penalty for apostate, inequal treatment of women, etc. and because of the arrogance of islam by the books which display a superiority complex with regards to other religions, etc. In my opinion, all religions are false, but some have less and others more negative consequences for the believers and society. The biggest problem is that muslims cannot interpret the scriptures in moral, positive, and modern ways, because it is the word of god (which is of course for me total nonsense).

I would like to see the discussions and descriptions of the living and forgiving God . Christian priests ( some of them ) lie through their teeth as usual and say there is nothing like a living God mentioned in Quran . Surah Burroj mentions it and at many other places it is mentioned . That is what we need to propagate , that is is the loving God , the forgiving God . How he repeatedly shows us how to expiate sins, one example ; good deeds annul evil deeds. Or the freeing of slaves or the feeding of the poor or supporting of orphans or helping the traveller etc etc etc .

I am just wondering: What about those who outwardly seem sincere and say „What do we all know anyway?“ I think of individuals like Jordan Peterson who appear so humble that they fail to take the final step towards embracing objective truth because they insist on knowing we can’t 100% know anything and he views people like us who believe in Islam being 100% true as arrogant. But they still do not opt for moral relativism.

The Right of Allah to be obeyed and worshiped (not one or the other but BOTH) is founded on the Fact that Allah is the All Powerful. For those stubborn, addicted people who refuse Him this Right should prepare to face His wrath after death. There the lies will become manifestly clear and their intercessors will be of no use. They would have wasted this opportunity to pass the Test and their closed mindednrss, addiction to this world and Ego will lead them into hell. May Allah protect us in a safe haven from such evil people. I even prayed for this during my exams when foolish time-wasting classmates would cause distraction and teacher had to separate them to allow others their free will. Thankfully under Capitalism too we are realizing there is no free choice like it claimed and we are all slaves to it's bankers and corporations who are destroying the people and environment whether you like it or not. This passive aggression albeit unseen to masses but to those who are wise can connect the dots. My only solution to wake the masses is give ALL the money to 1 person (Bezos, musk, Buffett, gates, Putin, drumph) and drop everyone else below the poverty line and then wait a Moses. LoL.

Hell is glamorous on the outside, just like fire is. The glow of Hell is attractive, like a moth is attracted to the glow of fire. Allah mentions that He has surrounded Hell with ease, and surrounded Heaven with hardships. In other words, the door of Hell is Heaven, and the door of Heaven is Hell. Thus, we choose Hell when we choose cancer, because its door was Heavenly (ex., the pleasure of smoking or drinking). We choose Heaven when we choose health, because its door was Hellish (ex., the pain of going to the gym). Therefore, Hell is instant gratification, while Heaven is delayed gratification. It is our daily habits that speak to whether we become like a moth, taken away by superficial glamor, or not.

For me hell used to be a major problem. The way I understand it now is as a form of distance vs. proximity to God's Mercy, and not necessarily as a literal fire. Nar (fire) and Nur (light) come from the same etymological root. A candle can burn you but it can bring light also; so I think the afterlife is a continuation of consciousness (I don't know if I believe I will be resurrected with this body or not, I doubt it to be necessary) and any description we have about the Akhirah in this life is just so that our imagination can form a general concept of what we might expect.
