Which doesn't make sense since anyone can watch the videos on Bilibili by their original creators. The CN firewall doesn't prevent the West from watching, it prevents the CN users from going on youtube. It's not like piracy where people don't want to spend money. There's no barrier. Takes like 1 second to just search "明日方舟", the CN name for AK on bilibili and if you're being lazy and looking for just guides, arkrec exists in translated english

If EN/CN content creators are all like hongyatta we wouldn't be having this problem. Upload content on bilibili and youtube at the same time. Hire a translator. You can't reupload something when it already exist on both platforms. Also, bilibili is guilty of their own content reuploading. We steal from their AK content they steal our vtuber vods, clips and animations. They are enough shady people on both sides to balance each other out😂 Also, as a bilingual. I use bilibili as much as youtube. I don't give a shit what happens to CN reuploaders on youtube or EN reuploaders on bilibili. That's for all you people who only speak EN or CN to worry about.

Isn't the China Firewall for blocking the Chinese from accessing Global content? Well they do have their workarounds I've heard. I'm from Singapore and I can access bilibili to watch their videos just fine. Just one reminder to create an account every video. Only issue is I can't read Chinese as fast so I guess there can be content reuploaders but translate the graphics to English, monetise it and split a portion to the original creator? Probably another issue from the consumer side is that when we do get these contents most of the time especially if its not sourced properly. We don't really go actively look for the creator themselves its kinda like the credits to a game most people would skip it.

I don't know if i could say this as a solution, more like its a suggestion. my suggestion is that all heralds should have a 1 joint account where 2 people ( or more ) uses it and uploads the CN contents with no monitization, has permision from the creators and the uploaded contents are fast. its like a semi bilibili arknights bin where from 5 minutes of it being out in bilibili, its out already in the joint account. the stealers might be a lot and fast ( considering they just DL it and upload it ) while that 1 account is much much faster than them uploading stolen contents. If they upload 5 - 10 vids per day, then the heralds can upload like what? 20? 25? videos a day. though this is only a suggestion. not a solution. peaceas outo :_A_:

I think that the whole content theft issue is purely conflict of interest. The content creators want to their rights to own contents in youtube sphere. The CN reuploaders want to hold their own channels to be incentive enough for them in exchage of flourishing arknights contents. The consumer want to support the arknight youtube ecosytem by simply consume the content. Anyone who disrupt the symbiotic Arknights consumer-content relationship can cause another problem beyond anyone could imagine. I believe that people don't want to deal this kind of problem that long anymore. It costs everyone's morale. And the end result might not be worth enough.

Rokettor also even had a video that stole from TerminalMontage. I outright reported said video to TerminalMontage himself. The video in question had stolen/edited scenes from Terminal's videos to make characters look like AK characters. So it was a re-uploader stealing content from a content stealer.

If I remember correctly monetized videos gain more appreciation from algorythm, so why keep chanel demonitized? I understand this from moral point, but if you want to build smth to last long, considering economics is important. Also part of monetisation money can be send back to CN creators, so what the problem?

Why does it work? Because it's so prevelant, AND difficult to verify, unless you know what you're looking for. For example it seems unlikely that the creator of the mod with that you're using, asked for consent of fan arknights model creators, but to check it, I'd need to find specific mod, read credits there, then find original models distribution, and translate them to figure whether they're strict or allowing towards the use. It took 2-5 minutes to me to be fairly certain, but to someone that doesn't know what they're looking for - it may be much harder. And then comes just the question where you draw the line - I guess it's monetization, but cases are more complex imo - unpopular opinion, nintendo is within right to protect their IP, even on free content. It's all a bit confusing, but I think what is most important anyway, is to do what you and plus minus did - bring awareness that those channels repost videos without prior consent, so consumers stop and think about it. Can't expect every viewer to stop, and look up original creator to ask them if they gave reposting permission before watching, lol.

Unless someone in China uses a VPN, which is illegal (though, laws aren't always enforced... until they do get enforced at an arbitrary moment), access to various parts of the Internet are unavailable to them. China just shamelessly copies what's already popular in the world (Google search -> Baidu, KZbin/NicoNico -> Bilibili, Facebook -> WeChat, Amazon -> Temu) and then blocks or hinders the original website and only allows the entirely CCP controlled version. Unless those Chinese animators want to risk getting into legal trouble over simplistic, two minute animations, they can't upload on KZbin. The Chinese that do upload to KZbin are potentially playing with fire for short term gain.
