Every time someone romanticizes Lolita I die a little inside. It is a genuinely well written book about a child abuser and the dark nature they hold. It is about how they lie, manipulate, and cheat everyone (including the reader) in order to get their way. I think it is a well written book, BUT EVERY TIME I hear someone call it a love story, I swear an angel in heaven loses its wings. Also, this isn't aimed at you in a negative way at all rather at other people, but I am so sick of some people being like, "It's lolicon~" when no, it's damn pedophilia and perverted not some "complex." People need to stop trying to call it something else to make it sound "better." It's like those twitter clowns who are like, "I'm a minor attracted person." Wow, that's a weird way to pronounce pedophile, but ok.

Edit: I did hear their story is based on their own toxic relationship they were in, plus they have some mental health issues. Plus people are mentioning a stalker. These probably don’t excuse all their actions but I thought these were at least very important to add. Dear god, I just saw their elevator man and psychocuties stuff in my recommended a while back. tamakuz actually posted a new vid on the same day this iceberg was uploaded ! it was a short animatic of dr masacrik dancing along to the song “this hurts” by msi, going along with the lyrics by basically praising himself and following that up with “so why doesn’t that make me feel better ?” it then cuts to ushka with the lyrics “I need some more, need someone who’s insecure” before showing dr masacrik holding onto her as the lyrics say “controlling you makes me better” not really relevant to this vid much, but I thought I’d mention it in case anyone wanted to know,,, but like dr masacrik and ushka’s relationship is very intentionally toxic, and if you somehow couldn’t see that before, then this animatic LITERALLY says in your face that he’s using her to make himself feel better

Some info here to elaborate on a bunch of things Used to be a fan here. The green haired guy is Buttercup, my favorite chatacter by Tamakuz. He’s the opposite of Masakrik. A man who’s full of himself yet way kinder than the Doctor. He has a crush on Strawberry but she doesn’t like him back. Buttercup and Doctor Masakrik butt heads alot. They both despise eachother. Strawberry and Buttercup are the employees of the hospital Doctor Masakrik used to work at. Unironically, Buttercup is the least toxic character there. Tamakuz is also a neo nazi. She glorifies Putin’s attack on Ukrain. There is a groupchat where she unironically has stickers where she is using swastika’s and “ die to Ukrain “ or something along that. She is for the entire ideal of communism. The creator you mentioned that had proved a lot of proof is also a creep themselves. I was in a server with a bit portion of the fanbase where he was the leader. He voiced the Psychocuties episode in English and it fitted a lot. Though, over the time the people moticed how odd he’s talking about from what i remember a 15 year old, where he was 18/19 at the time of the event. A big portion left the server and riled up against him because of his creepy behavior. Another thing: he kept messaging Tamakuz to a point where Tamakuz had enough of him. She was angry on how he was making, in her words, “ Shitty content “. He messaged her asking a bunch of questions but he wouldn’t stop. He kept making content regardless of Tamakuz being very rude from the start. This iceberg goes a lot deeper than it is 😅… EDIT: Buttercup was never used because she absolutely HATED this oc. She didn’t like him at all because it’s the complete opposite of what she likes.

@Alexis-nd4oc2 ай бұрын
I won't lie, this iceberg left me in shock, it hit me like a truck and even dumped a bucket of ice water on me. The worst part? The worst part was that I was a fan of this series, since I liked the concept I had inside my head (concept influenced by what I had heard from a Spanish-speaking youtuber, since I am Latin and my English level is basic to bad): A comedy where several psychopaths in love find themselves fighting in a love square while adorable and macabre things happen. I went into the video under the idea that I was going to find curiosities about the characters, curiosities that I was going to use to make a bot of a character I liked, but my god, what did I find? I was going to look for copper and I ended up finding hell: It hit me like a bat knowing that the creator was a fart who had changed her work to align with her “tastes” (something that pisses me off, because I went to research her drawings on VK and was surprised to find a human version of Ushka and I must admit I loved it more than the current concept), it hit me like a bucket of ice water about her being a white supremacist and the drawings with the funny mustache man outfit, but without a doubt what left me in shock of disgust was the Lolita drawing. Honestly, I feel quite shocked and upset to know that the creator was so distant to my idea of her, since I thought of her project as “an independent series that seeks to stand out” and I was even glad to think that animation in Russia was having more impact on this side of the globe where I live. But well, I don't know whether to bot or not anymore, but I think the best I can do is to completely disassociate the art from the artist and I guess make some changes to the character to improve it and take it out of the original concept. Shit, another series ruined because the creator doesn't realize that her philia is bad.

Oh my goodness it sucks so much when you've found a new interest and starting to enjoy it, but later then you find out about the dark truth of the artist... I'm speechless
In fact, there have been videos on this topic on russian-language youtube for a long time and some of them are just terrible and much worse than what tamakuz did on the Internet. For example, the most popular video about them is a video made by their stalker. He came to the door of the apartment where they live, sent them photos of their door, eavesdropped on them through the wall. He also encouraged people to harass tamakuz online, using their fascination with l0lic0n as a reason for. And all this, as far as I know, happened because they did not reciprocate and blocked him in the VK group. I didn't really dive into this situation, so this is only superficial information that I learned from the videos covering this conflict. I don't support what tamakuz were doing, but it that's not a reason for bullying and stalking online and irl. Also, I think people from the 1st world countries need to keep in mind that, according to my observations, people from the CIS are more prone to problematic behavior, since childhood in Russia and similar countries is often filled with traumatic events. I and most of my social circle live in the CIS, and many people with whom I was close enough to discuss trauma had some serious traumatic events as they grew up, from the death of relatives with subsequent funerals, to sa. And this cannot but lead to an interest in dark topics as a coping mechanism.

I like when westerns keep talking about tamakuz being n@zi or pedo, but no one says shit about her creepy stalker who started spread all these rumors about her. Most of this proofes either fake or cut out of context. There is such a thing as the presumption of innocence. You have no right to accuse a person until he has comitted a crime. Tamakuz never harassed children or expressed sympathy for n@zism. I agree that she is weird and childish af. But you are trying to cancel a person while providing evidence of someone who has been following her for 3 years. Tell people about her stalker, who came to her home and try to cancel her for 3 damn years. Honestly, I have so many thoughts on this topic. I think that Tamakuz is very strange and is often wrong in her judgments. But she never did anything wrong to get her or psychocuties canceled.

And then i found out about all the drama throught a video, (admittedly, a very messed up video, considering how the guy managed to dig up most info) talking about lots of drama about Tamakuz. I kinda like that people are discovering stuff from my country, but also a bit ashamed that it's through something from such a problematic creator. Thanks alot for never saying "VKontakte". It always pains my soul when others try to say it in their vids.

Im so glad you made this video, I got into psycho cuties but felt that the relationship between those two was creepy and every time I saw a post about psycho cuties there was always a comment saying that the creator was a weirdo, and then another comment defending them. Now I now what’s true and false, thank you and to hell with this series.

You know I'm kinda surprised that just not so many years ago for artist in russian-speaking spaces was totally normal and even "trendy" to draw their characters in the nazi uniform or lolicon stuff, or abusive relationships, no one cared a slightest, it was literally popular for YEARS, from like 2010-2018 I believe. It was everywhere, nearly every artist has drawn just one thing from the list. Because there was NO culture of uhh treating characters and drawings as something serious, just as SOMETHING. Just arts. Just edgy little drawings that ment nothing, did just for fun. Then there was law in 2016(?) that proclaimed sexual drawings of minor characters equals to pedofilia now. I remember the whole MASSIVE albums of nsfw artworks were removed from mlp and homestuck fangroups and everyone was like "noooo" (guess what, the law is just on paper, you still can easily find them in closed groups and no one will or ever had actual legal troubles, The Adults has no care about drawing (oh but they're SURELY CARE about any gay artwork💀 THIS is where you might get troubled.)) And then around 2017-2018 something happened, like the internet kids grown up, learned english to enjoy twitter and tumblr, AND ONLY THEN people in the art community started to tabooing abuse art, nazi uniform and loli art, catching it from the english speaking community. ONLY THEN. But guess what, we still have NO cancel culture. It just don't exist here. I swear, somehow the most of people who actually give a fawk is 12-20yo who uses/used tumblr and twitter or who doesn't know english and just - uhh I don't want to say "catched a trend" but cant come up with the right words rn - from them. I'm just genuinely surprised that if, let's say, the whole russian internet was cut off from the world like the asian one, BY THIS DAY NO ONE WOULD EVER. CARE. A FLIPPING FLYING FUCK BY THESE DAYS. What a cultural perception, huh. So why am I saying this. It's veeery easy to dig up some shit on MANY russian-speaking artist. BUT because of them being just an edgy teens at the time and followed edgy trends without a thought. Many of them changed their minds as they grow up. I personally was obsessed with abusive creations when I was a teen AND AS AN ADULT I HAVE NO IDEA WHY💀💀💀. JUST NO IDEA. I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER. Guess it's was just hormones + teen rebel + mentality. English-speaking people and russian-speaking people were growing up in polar opposite worlds and still have pollar opposite mentalities. And from what I remember, creepypasta and edgy bloody animes was THE MOST popular fandoms at the time in Russia. Amost no one was parent supervised, it wasn't even a thing (and not a thing now, parents here don't care what their children doing on that silly little internet... and most families here are abusive and conservative) And I'm saying this not to defend Tamakuz by any means. She's doing it now, when everyone is already aware, not in 2013 when everyone literally had no idea those stuff are bad. Just informing for those who have no idea but may have a question "why it always russians". Also I love infodumping and have no friends lol sorry

I found about psycho cuties when it had just came out, And I was honestly pretty amazed by it, I didn’t know about all this things and I had honestly thought it was just a choice of style on how old ushka looked, since some artists do that. I honestly was expecting a story where Ushka like escaped or confronted the doctor about it but uhh given the circumstances I think the story wants to lean into the toxicity. Thank you for informing us!! I hope this video stays the place it is at. Honestly pshyco cuties had some potential (story part, it’s original and such) , but again that’s just my opinion. Thank you!!

I literally just discovered "Psychocuties" last night and thought that the obviously toxic and abusive dynamic was the part of the plot without the sexualization, like, have the problem but it would be a topic that the public would see and think "Eww. Wtf, this guy is shit". Brazilian hugs. But thanks to your video I saw that unfortunately not. In short: I had no idea of the creator's intention or appreciation regarding the questionable dynamics she puts into her characters. I also draw, I have two characters who have a toxic relationship dynamic, but obviously I despise it and I wouldn't want to romanticize or boast about such a thing for a moment. **I really thank you for the informative video**, because I really wasn't aware and I'm quite disgusted and disappointed with the creator because she really knows how to draw and her animation is beautiful, but unfortunately the "beauty" will remain in an aesthetic way and not because of the rotten and unhealthy plot of romanticizing something like this as content for horny sicks who find it "beautiful"...

Good lord having this connected to Oingo Boingo and Danny Elfman in a way is absolutely wild LMAOOO (Danny Elfman sang Elevator Man btw, one of my fave artists/bands) It also pisses me off that people might associate this with the band and demonize it like one of the other works which is satire and making fun of creeps, which honestly the author probably would unironically use. Sighs, we cannot have nice things LMAO

all these leaks/exposures on tamakuz are provoked by her crazy stalker, by talking about this topic you are just once again making this creep happy. yes, she did draw gross things, i myself really hate it. but as i remember in the CIS such behavior was not even condemned for a long time, such a video could be made about sooo many russian artists. but why is there nothing like that about them? because they are not monitored by a creep, who sniffs out all the information, sometimes distorts the meaning and makes up facts, lol. (NOT SAYING IT'S NORMAL, i think that every artist who glorified discussed themes should be exposed one day. just why only her and why exactly when that dude wants it?) in conclusion, destroying her reputation is literally what her stalker wants rn, and making a whole video about her and never mentioning him (even in comments, you can do that literally in a couple of minutes) is imo... not good???

A few days ago my friend showed me and talked about psychocuties I did find it interesting and watched the elevator video and found it a bit strange due to ushka's human appearance being a bit younger despite her being a fresh 18 year old. My friend told me that tamakuz were a bit problematic but still liked the art style of the series. I looked more into the series and stumbled across this video and now I'm disgusted of the things tamakuz did. I tried to reason with my friend how they shouldn't be so mesmerized by the cute art when its romanticizing abuse. Luckily she understands but I'm worried for them.

Everything else is valid but I don't believe the Nun art is that deep. Artists have sexualized many characters as Nuns/Priests before. I won't deny that it's most definately controversial at the very least, but this is just my opinion and the arguments depends on someones beliefs.

Honestly, I literally only learned about Psycho Cuties a few days ago and I clicked on that video so fast when I had seen the art style. I’m all for indie content and I always try to watch the whole video before forming a solid opinion on it. What is it with the most problematic creators having such good potential? I’m genuinely so disappointed to be hearing all of this, yet, I find myself not so surprised. Of course, despite not wanting to judge things before finishing it, I couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable throughout the video- and I really doubt there were much viewers who seen Ushka and thought she was an adult at first look. However I did have the thought “Maybe I could like these characters without supporting what they do?” Which was sort of hard, because apart from the amazing art style, that’s sort of all we really see in Masacrik. He doesn’t have any redemption arc or deep backstory that somehow makes sense of why he’s the way he is. And I don’t think Tamakuz has any intention of making that. When I watched Elevator Man, I was totally for it, for around the first half of the video. The song was by one of my favorite bands, the animation was flawless and again, the art style is SCRUMPTIOUS. But then when Ushka got involved I was immediately grossed out, like, she has literal tears coming out of her eyes and he quite literally licks them up. Even if this character is and 18 year old, it’s clear she’s not fully consensual. I kept trying to tell myself that I was lacking some sort of understanding, but the creator clearly doesn’t hide the fact that she’s glorifying this sh!t. I really thought the pilot and the fandom would have potential and I was pretty excited to be part of it, it’s going to be pretty hard forgetting about such a cool looking video with such a disturbing backstory. 😢

I’m so glad someone talked about this! I was scrolling on Pinterest when I came across that exact Nun AU fanart and was extremely disgusted. A few days earlier I had found the Elevator Man fan animation and even seeing just how these two characters were depicted made me feel uncomfortable. Anyone with a conscience and the ability to understand the implications of Dr. Masikir (I think that’s how you spell it) and Ushka’s relationship can clearly tell there is a SIGNIFICANT age gap. When I first saw the Elevator Man fan animation I recognized just how young Ushka looked. I’m so glad this video exists so I don’t have to sit here and question my feelings about how weird this whole thing is.
