Looking forward to this Bishop Blakes. You’ve equipped me following my separation and divorce, the night my ex-husband abandoned our home 9/2020, you came across my YT, as I’d never heard of you before…I know it was God. God has been good to me and my two sons as we are thriving and have relocated to from OKC to HOU and have started a new life and we’re happy, and I’ve had much success as well as my sons, one a full scholarship to college and the other an excellent HS student. I hope to visit your church one day. Your teachings empower women at every stage of life. As I open my heart to date again, I feel well equipped to navigate the waters as there are definitely some sharks out there and I’ve been able to spot them Head on!! However, I know in time the King God has for me will find me as I continue to thrive and walk in my purpose. @@tiabarring He came to the jazz festival down here in Jacksonville and went by my parents house! After I bit his head off. My spiritual sister said that you never know why God brought him back in your life. I then opened my heart. And sure enough 2 months later I became VERY ill with covid even though I had my shots and booster. He was RIGHT THERE! He came from Atlanta and stayed until I got better. I just returned back to work Sunday!

After a divorce it is so important to regain one's sense of balance and redefine oneself after being robbed and plundered by an unscrupulous partner. I do believe that regaining a solid foundation is vital and an important tool to thrive and survive in the aftermath of divorce or separation. No one is born married and we all die alone and appear b4 Jesus alone so we need not feel afraid of aloneness, its not the same as loneliness. We are beautifully crafted even b4 birth, so regaining one's sense of the spirit-man or spirit-self is important. We need to go back to the heart of our true Father in heaven n connect with blue prints plans for our respective destinies b4 giving our priceless hearts away. Its about regaining control. Its about praying for God to most of all be in control of the new emerging woman in each of us.

It's gonna take some time to heal, a good amount of it actually, but you can do it. Draw closer to God, read scripture, sing songs of praise, be careful what you watch on TV, go to church, and most importantly pray in the spirit at all times asking God to heal & strengthen you. Abstain totally from sex and re-purify yourself for your future husband. You can do this! It won't be easy but it's surely worth it!

Bishop, I believe Black American women are NOT raised to be wives!!!! I have questioned a cross-section of Black American women, over the past 15 years, from varying backgrounds/up-bringings- married parents, single parent rearing; upper, middle, lower-class lifestyles; college/non-college educated; to professional/non-professional women. NOT ONE of these Black women (in the 15 years that I have been asking the question- you can imagine how many Black women that could be) were raised, encouraged, or consciously taught to be a wife!!!! Conversely, my white, Asian (Indian and women from the Orient), Latino, and African acquaintances were ALL taught, encouraged, and raised to be a wife!!!! Some of the non-Black American women were “encouraged” as simply as, “…one day you will be a wife!” The suggestion was always there! I believe this is a SYSTEMIC problem, a legacy of slavery, and a skewed sense of value that has hindered Black American RELATIONSHIPS, let alone the concept/theory that a Black American woman either becoming a wife or simply knowing she CAN be one!

Dear Lord please show and help me to think and act as a wife should. My birth parents gave me away and my adopted parents split when l was 5 years of age and my mother was out of control, angry, violent and shouted a lot. I never saw a husband and a wife interact, only snippets from friends homes briefly. I have nobody to look up to or ask. I will be 43 and l have had to learn to be on my own. Now l see l am hurt and argumentative, lacking in faith and probably realising how desperate l am. How wretched is me.

My mother started teaching me to how to be a wife at a very young age. When I was in what I call a spiritual cocoon, God revealed I was a lot like Rebekah and what I needed to be for my future husband. I always want to help, it's in my nature but he does not receive my help, he does not appreciate me, he is disrespectful in his words...so I have stopped giving me to him... He has no right energy so I don't have any energy for him too. I don't want to go home sometimes, he doesn't even regularly check on me when am out.... Submission and cooperation works together and flows naturally if the man is doing his work too. He does not adore me, he does not tell me I love you, he says, go say it to yourself.

I think it's important to remember that everyone doesn't like it when someone dictates orders to them and I don't especially believe that it is the place of wife / girl friend to set out to demaskclate a man in the process of wanting ones own way I think that a lot more can be achieved with a smile than a fight ! In my experience anyway. who wants a woman who is miserable to be a round actions such as that create distress an distance only in my opinion.

Thank you for this video. It’s was excellent. I fell in love with my fiancé’s vision as much as with him, he is his vision though. After a divorce, it took ten years to meet this splendid visionary of a man and glad I didn’t go through with marriage to others who were asking. Was needing a man whose life and vision I could join with enthusiasm. One thing I don’t agree with though, in my opinion and experience, women cannot turn themselves on and off. If you’ve been the alpha male all day at work, you can’t suddenly turn into the beta female at home. It’s incongruous. No disrespect intended. Sometimes you have to chose between full blown mannish career and your dream husband and harmonious home life. The subservient spirit seems to be innate in some women, others have to nurture it and develop more of a servant leadership mentality, to fit into the business/career world. Maybe you know of cases where women can be super aggressive and domineering during the day but sweet and submissive at home. I don’t know of anyone like that, including me, in the past a professional woman (attorney) and business owner. Beware to the career woman less you begin bossing your healthy alpha male, super successful husband around. They will want to take the lead and be the decision maker, you must play the role of consultant and keep them happy, nurtured and satisfied. Maybe the secret to the work/home transition is to practice servant leadership in the working world. Not sure because my soon to be husband takes nearly all of my attention and I have little left over for a full blown career. However, he is an extraordinary man and exactly the type of man I hoped would one day find and pursue me. Thanks again for your excellent insights.

Hello Thank you for you ❤ I had 2 xhusbands both of13 years married . Both are 64 years old. I just turned 51. Just recently I ended my 3 year relationship With a soul tie. I went in deep In my investigation. ON why does this keep happening in my life. What I have found is God Amen 🙏. He's has been here with me all along . To help me see clearly . I was with 3 different narcissists but the same. And I was also able to see all of the people in my life that are narcissists. I'm not blaming anybody I've seen the signs. Now I see I have always had the Lord that always walked with me. Also I have the knowledge now to never let the Devil in again ❤

It's the same for women. Gender isn't the issue. What happens is women have expectations to be a good person and they will try to bond quicker. Also because mist men let themselves go so women are desperate for the current situation to work out.
