R .Kelly: Sad fact there are ALOT of R.Kellys hanging around the high schools (especially in the hood) every day. GROWN men who seek out young girlfriends they can manipulate with money and gifts. I remember classmates who always had all the NEW gear walking out of school getting picked up in luxury cars by older boyfriends. Teachers , Security ,etc they ALL saw it but said nothng.

@jambajuice71216 жыл бұрын
Love Me yes but sometimes there’s an underlying issue. So for you to call the girl out like that is not helping either. You’re right she doesn’t know her worth and that’s probably why she doesn’t see anything wrong with what she’s doing. It can be the fault of the parents too. It’s sad honestly. To me, I feel like it’s the way a child is raised. Because no one who is normal will think that’s it’s ok for a child to be with an old ass man.

@jambajuice71216 жыл бұрын
Monique L of course. There’s different reasons why that could happen. But my point is that going up to the girl and cursing at her is not going to help the situation. Because most likely in her mind she doesn’t see anything wrong with it. And I’m speaking from personal experience. This happens a lot in my country (El Salvador). One of my uncles who is 50 got a 15 year old girl pregnant. And it’s clear that it was the parents fault. Because at age 15 you are still a child. Your brain doesn’t fully develop until about the age of 25. Who should’ve been the people guiding this girl? Her parents.

R. Kelly is hurting and he needs help. Hurt people, hurt others. R. Kelly needs to ask himself, “What do you love so much you have to hurt these women or others in order to experience the thing that you want? What hurts you so much that you feel you have to hurt someone else in order to heal it?' The women need to ask themselves, "What is so broken in me that I would stay with a man who would treat me like this?" But, before any of us judge, convict, condemn, and sentence him to hell, pray for him and his victims. Pray for R. Kelly & All Those Involved: God I ask You in Jesus’ name that You will touch R. (Robert) Kelly, each and every man, woman, and child he has hurt in any way, shape or form. God save, heal, deliver, and set each of them free. God they all need help. Send them the help they need. God they need You. God do the inner-healing in each of their lives that is needed. Show each of them, their-selves, and show them the areas You want to work on in their lives. Show each and every one of them where they are wrong. Let none of them harden their hearts, but be open for the salvation, inner-healing, deliverance, and the great things You want to do for each of them and in their lives. Let each one of them partner with You, Your Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit and work on these areas. Bless every one each of them to become all You created them to be and nothing less. God use each of them for Your glory and good pleasure. God all I that I have asked of You in this prayer to do for R.Kelly and all those involved, do the same for all those who pray this prayer including myself over their lives. God we all need more of You. Bless each of us with more of You. Help us all Lord Jesus. Have mercy on our souls. Thank You God. Amen, so be it, and it is so.

You know, people need to stop acting like it's the first time folks would be sticking up for their idols & letting their good looking, rich & famous get away with atrocities. When Dwayne Wade's ex wife told of his anger issues & domestic violence (she was hospitalized & pregnant I believe in one of those occasions), she was shot down by the public and the media. Called crazy and all sorts. It's true that taking to the streets with a sign seemed extreme, but the custody of her babies was at stake & she knew quite well that her family couldn't match Dwayne financially in anyway. Translation? Better lawyers. Better media representation. Wade is now playing perfect husband to Gabrielle Union. I pray his violent ass is exposed & humiliated. Though I suspect he'll thread carefully with Gabrielle, she having her own money & status. Stop celeb-worship. Stop selective justice!

I wish the producers would help Loni out a little bit and inform her of when she does and does not need to say "allegedly" or "alleged." These are not "alleged" accusations. They are just accusations - by definition, calling something an 'accusation' is not attesting that it is either true or false, so adding the disclaimer just sounds odd and is completely unnecessary and confusing. The accusations would only be "alleged" if the actually allegation itself was merely hearsay and we didn't have these girls on tape or making written statements etc. A settlement is not "allegedly" a situation when you pay someone to keep them silent/close the matter. That is literally what it is. Also, you can explain generally what a term means without it really being even arguably defamatory. Adrienne wasn't speaking specifically of R. Kelly's settlements in that context (i.e., saying "these four settlements were to shut them up"), she explained that R. Kelly settled the claims and then followed with "usually that is a financial settlement..." The distinction makes a difference. When Loni throws in "allegedly" all the time she distracts from the point her co-host just made and casts doubt on what is being said for no reason. I know that is not the point of the video but I have seen this many times on this show and this is something they should correct. It's erroneous and detracts from the credibility of what they are saying :-/
@kathrynpitt49735 жыл бұрын
The show's legal advisers probably feel a bit jumpy about it. R Kelly is still an extremely wealthy man, and he could file a devastating lawsuit for defamation to censor the network.

Just and FYI there is a difference in domestic violence and sexual assaults that allow the police to charge a person despite the victim’s say so... For example if the police come because of domestic violence, if they can visably see there was an assault they don’t need the victim to say anything. However with sexual assaults the marks are something that need to be evaluated by a doctor (if the victim doesn’t say anything). Also no cop wants to force a victim to endure a trial if they don’t want to press charges. Its very different.

People still support chris brown despite him being an abuser of domestic violence against Rhianna and people still support Michael Jackson even though hundreds of little boys came out and said he molested them. no one cares, they only listen to music

Does The Real air on any TV channel, here in the UK?

I don’t doubt these ladies and their unfortunate experiences but Jerronda Pace (the young lady that was on The Real), even though she was young at the time, made the decision to skip school to attend R. Kelly’s trial. She stated in the documentary that she attended everyday of the trial, heard testimonies and saw the video all while in court....then she turn around and STILL went to be with him. I’m not saying that she deserved what happened to her (absolutely no one deserves to be abused in any way) but I do feel that she (speaking only about her in this comment) needs to and should take some ownership in how she contributed to the abuse she suffered. She was keen enough to skip school (numerous days), make her way down to the courthouse (she said she attended the entire trial), engaged in interacting with him during the trial (she said she was telling him “keep your head up”), and then finally, STILL choosing to meet up with this poor excuse of a man! Acquitted or not.....R. Kelly is manipulative, clever (not in a good way) and and a child predator but this young lady, as she is telling her experience, should take on about 10% ownership in her specific situation. It’s almost like suing McDonalds because you ate their food and got fat. As a teenager she obviously didn’t see R. Kelly and his situation for what it really truly was but now as an adult telling her story and hindsight being 20/20, she should take a little bit of ownership in how she contributed to her negative situation.

They need to boycott his music, period. People that have his music should destroy it.

I appreciate Adriene's comment about the justice system and investigation, that makes total sense, I don't agree with the confusion part. He married a 15 yeard old, he pissed on and exposed himself to a teenager (which got a pass because she "lied about her age"), and he's had other allegation made about him for two decades, so what's there to be confused about in terms of admitting that he's done something wrong? why would these girls have to lie and let's be real if you didn't do anything why are you paying people off with money? why aren't you fighting for your damn dignity and respect. Also women who obviously settle do so for reasons such as low self esteem, guilt for making people who are "important" look bad, feeling as if no one will believe them anyway. AND LONI IS SAYING ONE THING BUT HER BODY LANGUAGE AND FACIAL EXPRESSIONS SAY ANOTHER. BUT I'LL GO WATCH PART 2 TO SEE IF IM RIGHT ABOUT WHAT I THINK.

There’s NO AMOUNT of money in the world that could make me turn a blind eye to my child being abused . So if he was able to pay off a mother or a father in exchange for them not taking him to court , they should be ashamed of themselves. I would’ve gotten justice for my child , PERIOD, forget that , R.kelly or not , he’s sick & so many people turned a blind eye including these girls parents .

This flawed justice system would let a cold murderer get away if the victim could speak from their grave and ask to settle out of court.

Dear, sweet Tamera. So late to the party when the topic is not something she can connect to as it relates to her husband or children. I liked what the other ladies had to say. Jeannie is always so insightful and makes thought-provoking and poignant statements. Adrienne faithfully prepares herself to have something interestingly relevant to say. I even enjoyed Loni on this one. She's intelligent and has an interesting point of view. I like when she takes the topic seriously and doesn't joke about brown liquor and sleeping with men. Those references are WAY overplayed and beneath her. Congratulations ladies on your award.

WHY ARE THEY ACCEPTING THE SETTLEMENT
@AntonetteNesbitt6 жыл бұрын
I'm just curious about 4 things: 1. Were these women kidnapped or drugged? 2. those who were over 18 why did they stay? 3. Why did so many settled out of court? 4. Why did so many even get involved with him after all these alleged allegations. These questions are by no means excusing his unethical, obnoxious behavior so Please do not take this the wrong way. I am sure these women went thru some horrific stuff and since I have not followed the entire story, and without going thru all various videos I just wanted to ask these questions.
