This is music taken to another level. It's a stunning piece of music, I think a masterpiece. Jimmy Page's playing is so enthralling, but so is John Paul Jones on those haunting keyboards! People shouldn't forget that John Paul Jones was the one that wrote and produced all those proto-ethereal string arrangements in Zep songs. He's such an underrated rocker. Love you always John Paul Johns! Thumbs up if you agree JPJ is fabulous in this too!

Who can touch John Paul Jones? Top ten bass players of all time, extrodianary keyboarist and piano player, not to mention supior mandolin, and guitar skills. As for musical arrangements he is pure genius.

Page displays more talent in this one song than any modern era band could dream of , And remember they came from a time when you had Tull, ELP and bands like Yes floating around, In those days you had to have real talent , or maybe something beyond talent.

There are bands, there are musicians, there are composers, there are arrangers, there are songwriters, and there are producers. RARELY DO WE EXPERIENCE THEM ALL-IN-ONE. This is pure magic and part of a much bigger picture - if you don't like or inderstand this gig, back off or get with the whole program people !!

Holy crow - if you've never saw this before - here's your golden Led Zep video key - this playing was all "blacked out" of The Rain Song, because Robert's fantasy sequence was overdubbed into it. Now, I/we get to see John Bonham go ballistic on the drums during the Zeppelin take off & couldn't control myself to shed tears - it was therapeutic for me to finally see ! This song is so fucking moody, dynamic, emotional, sad, powerful & a fucking modern music masterpiece !!! The guys & this song are EPIC !!! RESPECT THE MUSICAL MASTERS !

As an 80s and 90s metalhead, I turned my back on classic rock for a number of years as I perceived the music to be "fossilized" and "out of date". It is now 2011, and I just don't have the love or desire for today's sounds like I did for the great music of the past.
