Incredibly cool. Something I love about this watch already - and I will be buying one simply based on what I saw - is that it is the most spiritually true homage to the concept of the Explorer line I've seen (for me - nobody needs to agree here) from any designer. Unlike other brands or designers who homage strictly the form of the watches, the Rangemaster series is effectively landing the spirit. The Explorer to Explorer II trajectory represents a substantive departure in form, but in spirit there is a throughline. The Explorer II is, to me, a Marvel "What If" issue for the original Explorer. This nails that same feeling for me with the OG Rangemaster - it's from a different dimension, where some of the same jobs need doing and many more. Incredibly rad. Can't wait.
