For real I used to listen to Chev sometimes but he rambles and repeats with ego on top. A lil off track but I can't help but wonder what moves the team can still make. Waive JFL already and use the MLE to sign a big like Highsmith. That would be a dream but Barlow or even Saric would be good.

Hey Rob, here are just a bunch of various ideas: Raptor's Offense Break Down - I remember when FVV was still on the team you quickly cooked up a short presentation of how Raptors could do their offense and you weren't sure if people found it useful. I found it super useful, it opened my eyes on how basketball is played. Despite me previously watching every game for around 3 years, I am still a casual fan in terms of how I watch the game, as in I just follow the ball. So maybe you could do the same this year, breaking down on how the raptors are running their offense/how you would improve it if you can. - Could do a poll to see if others are in the same boat as me. Analytics 101 Video Idea - I know nothing about advanced analytics. A picked up a few things from watching your lives but not confident in it at all. People like me could watch someone else explain it, but I think since I only use you as my source for basketball info, it would feel kind of weird. It's like instead of going to your favourite hardware store for advice, you go to the store across the street which you know nothing about. The video could be the analytic measures you use frequently, how some people use some measures incorrectly, etc. - Could also do a poll to see if others feel the same. Free Agency/Trade Deadline streams - Seeing how slow the free agency deadline was recently due to the time change, you could implement some activities during it. Currently it quickly felt like a hangout after we figured news isn't going to be pouring in, which isn't a bad thing. Only activity I thought of was you playing some 2k lol, but idk. For these streams you could also purchase a RSS feed thing for a month, where you can combine the tweets from various accounts, so you don't have to search from account to account. This can be stagnant visually for the viewer though, as the screen would be the same. - Not super confident about this idea.

I think that panel does sharpen me a bit and I'd like to think Pensare Basketball and learning to deal with disagreements and miscommunications here have helped me better understand how to deal with those same things going forward.

I think we're trying to figure out a way to get Chomche on a G-leauge specific contract. Some way to circumvent the rules, since he's already a Raptors draftee, and wouldn't be able to be poached by another team. After a 1, 2, or 3 years, we sign him to a standard contract. Try to tack on extra team control. If not, we sign him to a two-way, then figure it out from there.

Makes me wonder if the bad trades we made with the Spurs over past years (specifically Jak and Thad) was repayment for the deal that brought Kawhi to T.O. Let’s be real nobody thought we had a chance in hell at landing Kawhi including us fans. There were plenty other teams that had more to offer. It would certainly make a lot more sense if that deal was leveraged by his agent and included future favours down the road. I'll wander.......Lebron owns a slice of Klutch ergo the Lakers. No wonder Lebron will take a salary cut to have Jr and others on his team. No one was going to draft Jr because it was clear for 5 years he was going to play with dad. And after all, how much mullah does one (LBJ) really need? Its about winning and power and control. For the 15 to 20 mil he gives up he makes in spades to build a Lakers champ while a shareholder of KS. To me, this agency control is the # 2 issue in hoops - the #1 issue is sports betting though. First a referee (Donaghy and there are others) then Jontay is the second to go down in flames. Its the tip of the iceberg - we'll see and the NBA will try to bury it. Although the Raptors were burnt with Jontay (i thought he was a decent player with good BB IQ) they do draft well focusing on character and upside. Raps are the world's team and the socio-political mess that is south of the border adds to that with those that are smart. We are the Davids flying under the Goliath radar.

I'm praying for it. Whether he ends up being worth the contract 2-3 years down the line, I do believe the Raptors overpaid by today's value. Value again is determined by market interest. I don't think another team would have come close to 170/5. That's why it's an overpay. No disrespect intended. Love IQ.
