They didn’t make any 540 touring in a manual transmission from factory, just conversions done aftermarket

In the USA yes, in Europe we had manual 540 tourings. Albeit rare.

I emailed BMW with my vin and they confirmed only 12 rhd, 540 sport 6 speed tourings were produced for the UK market.
