Yuka's fanbase reminds me a lot of Ted Bundy's fanbase. Even years and years later women still love him despite brutally killing so many women just because he was "charming and hot".

I remember someone made a dating profile that said something a long the lines of "Currently on trial for rape" or "Just got out of jail after I raped someone", they made it very clear that this fictional person had sexually assaulted someone. But they used a male model's photos for the images, some of the women who got in contact were clearly turned on by the fact that they thought this hot dude was a horrific criminal and could see it as a selling point. People are fucking crazy.

The most famous serial killers such as Ted Bundy, The Night Stalker and others, all had droves of women throwing themselves at them, sending letters and lewd pictures of themselves to these guys in prison. @@supboi5845 Trying to kill a cheater doesnt make a yandere, it's an entire character archetype. A lot more than just one action goes into it. Yes looks are a part of it, but its also the personality, the mental illness, the fact that she cosplays yandere characters, and how crazy she looked and behaved afterwards, sitting with him while he was dying and spelling his name in blood etc. This isnt just an average scenario of killing some one for cheating, she is the real life embodiment of an archetype that you dont see often because it's a bunch of uncommon qualities of a person coming together to make this rare occurrence. I saw this on Japanese news when it happened. It gave me chills. Attempted murder is not admirable or acceptable. Maybe Phoenix blames himself which is why he pleaded with her. People here tend to shoulder the complete blame for anything that happens to them even when things are out of their control. I remember vaguely hearing that people thought this girl who had nearly killed someone was “cute”. Image is very important in Japan and people sometimes overlook other negative personality flaws due to good looks. Image matters more sometimes than substance. This still creeps me out.

Guys, let me say this as a recovering jealous person: don’t let this awful feeling control your lives. It’s not worth it. Try to be honest with your partners, communication is key. If something bothers you, tell them right away, even if that means having uncomfortable conversations. If you got yourself a good partner, that won’t be a problem. Jealousy can seriously ruin good relationships, talking from experience here. And don’t lose yourself in the relationship, be your own person first. At the end of the day, you can’t prevent people from doing what they want. If they want to cheat, they’ll cheat no matter how hard you try. That’s a reflection of their character, not yours. If they’re so dumb to the point of not appreciating you, you don’t want them in your life. If anything, thank them for showing their true colors. I know it hurts to have your time and feelings wasted but better be exposed to the truth late than never.

“Sukiyaki” - This song has a remarkable story - it's a Japanese hit that became wildly popular in America despite Japanese lyrics that hardly anyone in the US could understand. Kyu Sakamoto was a star in Japan as both an actor and a singer, and this song, known in his country as "Ue O Muite Aruko," was a #1 hit there in 1961. Sometime in 1962, a British music executive named Louis Benjamin heard the song when he was traveling in Japan, and he had his group Kenny Ball & his Jazzmen record an instrumental version that made it to #10 on the UK charts. Benjamin renamed the song "Sukiyaki" after a Japanese food he enjoyed - a one-pot dish made with sliced beef, tofu, noodles and vegetables. The song made it to America when a disk jockey in Washington state heard the British version, and started playing the original by Sakamoto. He used the title "Sukiyaki," which was much more palatable to Americans than "Ue O Muite Aruko," and requests started pouring in for the song. Capitol Records obtained the American rights to the song and released it stateside, where it went to #1 on the Hot 100 for three weeks and also held the top spot on the Adult Contemporary chart for five weeks. So how did this American disc jockey get a copy of the original song? Marsha Cunningham gave us the answer. She explained to us: "In 1961-2 I was a high school student at The American School In Japan, living in Zushi, Japan. My dad was a pilot for Japan Airlines. While enjoying a Japanese movie staring Kyu Sakamoto, I heard the most unbelievably beautiful song. I purchased the record at a local shop and brought it back to the states the next year when I attended a girl's boarding school in Sierra Madre, California. I played it in the dormitory frequently; everyone liked it. One girl took my record home with her on the weekend so her dad could play it on his radio station, and the rest is history!" The Japanese lyrics are about sadness and isolation; the original title means "I look up when I walk." In 1963, the country singer Clyde Beavers arranged to have an official of the Japanese embassy (J.S. Shima) translate the lyrics into English. Although Beavers' "Sukiyaki" did not chart, A Taste of Honey made it to #3 in the US with their English-lyric version in 1981. A Taste Of Honey was a disco group that had a hit in 1978 with "Boogie Oogie Oogie." Their bass player/vocalist Janice Marie Johnson came up with the English lyrics for their version. She didn't translate the song literally, but kept the mood of the song with lyrics about a love that was taken away. Kyu Sakamoto was one of 520 people who died in a Japan Airlines crash in 1985. He was 43.

Yandere is a portmanteau of two Japanese words. The first is yanderu, which means “to be sick,” and the second is deredere, used here for “lovestruck.” A yandere is often sweet, caring, and innocent before switching into someone who displays an extreme, often violent or psychotic, level of devotion to a love interest.

The video contains false infor. She stabbed her cheating and scamer 'boyfriend', that was convincing her to buy bottles at his host club to help him with monthly rankings. She had to turn to the sex industry to support his sales as they have had sex, confirm their love to each other, and he said he will move into together in her apartment when he quits his job. He gets cold to her when she used the money she got from prostitution to rent an apartment for them together instead of spending it on the host club. She found out he cheated on her and 2 days later she stabbed him. She was upset and tried to kill him bc she was supporting his monthly sales and ranking at the male host club, and rented an apartment for them together by turning to prostitution, and although he confirmed that he loved her and will quit his job, he cheated on her by having sex with other female customers. He didnt sue her bc of out of court settlements and went back with a new name aka Phoenix Luna or the Undead bird at the host club.

@@idek3458 you clearly havent been reading my post bc i wasnt defending her, I was merely correcting infor presented in the video. Her actions wasnt justified of course but i never said she shouldnt go to jail. Im just saying the girl had a reason to attack him besides a being mere 'yandere' as she got her savings wiped out, turned to prostitution (all the while he knew and just asks her to help with his ranking), was suffering mentally and physically from her work, and constantly sees him ignoring her unless she spends money and him flirting and having sex with customers of the shop. Her actions wasnt justified of course but you have completely ignored all the reasons I listed down as why she attacked him and says Im insane for defending her when the entire world doesnt know her side of the story. Why cant I blame the guy for what he have done? He wasnt suppose to have a relationship with Yuka or any girl in the shop, but he did. He manipulated her in the relationship and ruined her life with no regret of what he did, the girl just got mentally unstable in response and tried to kill him off. He later dropped the charges bc of out of court settlement and he went back to the host club and renamed himself phoenix luna or a direct translation "不死鸟" undead bird as a gimmick to get more customers. Yuka as you can see is in jail for her actions but did this guy learn what he did wrong? He didnt even learn what he did wrong and just used this whole thing as a gimmick for his business, he held no remorse for using her until the very last bit. @nk361
@nk361 3 жыл бұрын
@@redtarget5275 I'm honestly really surprised you seem to think this is all justified. I completely agree that cheaters are horrible people, but truly it was never stated that he actually did. Warning signs can make you predict something, but she could have still been wrong... She did not have definitive proof that he was cheating, just a strong hunch built up through her anger and jealousy. Another part you aren't considering is that she CHOSE a ladies man. She knew he was surrounded with female attention as his chosen job/career and she decided she wanted that. Another part too is that she probably chose to sleep with him before ever married or at least very far along into the relationship. That often leads to harsher heartbreaks and stronger jealousy in a shallow, short term relationship. Even if he did cheat, it was very dumb for her to make those choices and expect him to be all hers forever. So, again, cheaters are garbage, completely agree, but at least have 100% solid proof that isn't based on emotions before you do anything insane... Orrrr maybe try breaking up? Sure it sucks to be cheated on, but man does it feel amazing to be cheated on, leave, and find someone else who's amazing because you never slept with the cheating hoe. The issue is with a light prison sentence relative to the crime, and if she has a huge fan base donating money to her, she might use that as justification for her actions and it might increase the likelihood she does something like this again. She might even be better off now because so many people donate money to her than she was before she tried to kill someone, which is a scary thought.

The video contains false infor. She doesnt just cosplay yandere characters.

Despite being into anime myself I've never understood the obsession with yandere type of characters finding some of them poorly written while also having a massive distaste in my mouth after hearing so many people view toxic relationships as something normal or even cute and desired. I like watching morally disgusting characters from the safety of my home knowing that it's all just the creator's imagination, but it terrifies me how much people romanticize abuse to the point of titles such as Killing Stalking being treated as romance. One would give mankind the benefit of a doubt to actually realize that stabbing a real person isn't a fun and quirky thing to be yet again terribly disappointed.

Japan have a 99% conviction rate. This is partially because due to cultural norms "innocemt until proven guilty", while a legal practice, is not a commonly held cultural ideal, the more common thought is: "well they were arrested so they are probably guilty" this leads to almost every jury being heavily biased. Also, suspects are not allowed to have a lawyer present during interrogation. And suspects can be held (with some paperwork and law skirting) for weeks on end. And I should mention japanese police interviews only recently started being recorded. So until recently whatever happen or was said in the interrogation room was basically up to the police's descretion. They have the worlds lowest crime rate though so I suppose it balances out :/

Jealousy? It seems more like obsessive compulsive and narcissistic... personality disorders? The recipient often seems to want that type of relationship, too but who knows without therapt? This needs to be addressed especially since people rely on and use phones and social media too much in daily life now. For those not raised on or to have grown up with the internet, it is a whole different world out there. Stalking is illegal but who is to say it is what it is in a "relationship?" Sad story. Smh

Those that say they weren’t actually dating don’t pay attention. They WERE dating but she became so possessive that she ALSO bought his time at work just to prevent him from talking to other people. There was no proof that he cheated, guys are allowed to have friends that are girls and girls are allowed to have friends that are guys. This girl was clearly in need of help and I hope that even though her sentence was short, she also has to get treatment. Personally I think he just decided to speak out for her is because of the fear of being stabbed by her again

Seeing criminals getting short sentences is infuriating. It pains me to even think about the victims who had to go through all the pain just to see their captors being free again. No, she didn't get the time she deserved. She stabbed a sleeping man with the intent of not just harming him but taking his life. As for her "fanbase" it's something we see fairly often and unfortunately with the growing "trend" and interest of Yandere those who may have the fantasties of becoming one themselves will hail her a hero for fulfilling that. Don't mistake my words for me encouarging her behaviour, actions and those in her "fanbase" that is not the case at all.

You think that and many people do, but in reality nothing goes as we people call it "normal", if id say my opinion on this situation we cant tell for a fact that she deserves more time in jail or that she is the bad guy, in my opinion they both did bad decisions. For this reason i think its better just to calm down and let the judge and the bf decide after all the bf got stabbed and not us.
