Been a long time viewer of this channel, but will have to say this is one of the most ill-informed video about Mbappe's struggle at Madrid. A simple eye test of the matches itself would reveal how Bellingham has been shoe-horned to perform the role of both a midfielder as well as making runs that a central forward like Mbappe is supposed to make. Plus the onus of tracking back when the front line loses the ball is also falling on Bellingham. Has Bellingham scored fewer goals. Yes. But he greatly overperformed his xG last year. The reason Mbappe was signed was to alleviate some pressure from goal scoring. The current version of Mbappe can't hold on to ball, has a very poor first touch, has poor awareness of the box and is usually too late to strike the ball meanwhile allowing the defender to close him out. One should stop apologizing for his behalf, rather expect him to uphold the standards that warrant him in the conversation of one of the best players in the world. Dude was supposed to bang goals. 7 years in the French league, and Mbappe has just not improved his abilities. Poor in the air, can't expect a box presence to score headers despite his decent height, hasn't learnt box awareness to poach goals, can't take freekicks. If we are comparing him to CR7 and Messi then it is in my opinion a big disrespect to their names. Dude needs to up his game, he needs to evolve as per the demands of the team, you can't just build your whole damn career at making runs from the left wing and call yourself the best player in the world. They need to play arda guler more, as much as i am sure bellingham is an overall better midfield/player than the likes of pedri, but what i can agree with ia that when it comes to playmaking and controling the tempo, pedri is better in that department, however i think the inclusion of trent alexander arnold and allowing more gametime for arda guler, i think real madrid's woefull form can be fix, push bellingham into center mid, and push arda up as a RAM that drifts in and have trent follow through on the right, we would not be worrying so much about mbappe anymore, as he would be scoring goals like crazy. The runs mbappe can make, we just need someone to pick him out, that woth him learning better movement and positioning, mbappe can be elite again even as a striker.

I think the big reason for people thinking this way is the standard Messi and Cr7 set as stars in Spain they would score almost every game I think Jude and Mbape are playing good and will score and it is also the internet standards we have these days were we want things now and don't want to wait. He will score goals and win it is just how football works even Ronaldo in his prime had critics saying he does not score enough sometimes and yeah Real Madrid fans expect too much sometimes as well

Bellingham probably runs the most. Defends a whole lot more this season. I agree midfield does need to improve in through balls heavily. Our mid is good but hasn’t adjusted yet. Still early. They will figure it out

Bro somehow managed to blame Jude lmao :D Why do you think Jude is struggling? because: for one he has to defend for 2 people himself and mbappe, for two he has to make runs behind the lines because mbappe is oblivious to that, three he isn't playing at the top of the diamond as an 9,5/10 anymore. This isn't FIFA, jude cannot just start scoring goals or be Krooos because thats a different type of player. Kroos and Bellingham are different type of players, learn that first. Blaming Bellingham is ridiculous. Bellingham has linked up with Mbappe as much as anyone even from deeper in midfield Mbappe's finisbing and movement have been really subpar though just watch him. And how Kroos not being there leads to Bellingham and Bellingham only getting criticism is funny. Jude is literally dominating for us but is forced to help the defense midfield and attack at the same time, Kroos never had as many responsibilities. Kroos was the sitter and those in that role have been Modric Camavinga Tchouameni and Fede never Jude but he has done incredibly as the box to box excelling at every aspect of the game. However even then Jude has been out wide for 5 games already to accommodate everyone else and Madrid lost 3 drew 1 and won 1 of those games but with Jude central we have won 7 out of 8 with a draw he is the key and why we have done anything well this season along with Fede and Vini

@RaymarFootball His midfield presence is there more than last season albeit not the creativity but you have to understand he's played wide and deep a lot this season, Mbappe rarely makes the proper run or is offside when doing it or loses the ball when receiving it by Bellingham. Bellingham has linked up with him more than anyone and is why he's scored at all really is why we've scored at all pure creating of chances sure but never his fault dropped deeper and forced into different positions with way more responsibility. This is just way more on Mbappe than him and the few he's done should also be credited to Bellingham same with the team overall really

The reason I blame Mbappe for his bad start in RM is b/c he already knew he wont replace Vinny Jr on Left wing when he decided to join RM. If Mbappe did not or does not like to play as striker, he shouldn't have gone to club who WILL have to play him as a striker. I mean, how dumb is that? Finally someone else sees that Jude ain’t doing enough as a CM he is actually more of a cam leaving massive space between the defense and midfield. This is also the coaching problem where it seems that Ancelloti doesn’t want to upset Jude or rotate him. Mbappe is dropping so much as a cam because he is desperate to create a chance for himself given that the midfield is not creating much or is ahead of him playing on his area aka Jude playing to high up as striker. On top of that as a non Madrid fan but just a fan of futbol it weird to see that the majority of the ball is going to Vinny. This is just my observation as a fan of the sport an non Madrid fan.
