5 years ago, I started carrying a small (5 in x 8 in) bag with crossbody straps to carry my essentials around the house: earpods, phone, small notebook & pencil, asthma inhailer, glucose test kit and random bits. I live in a 2-story house with a basement so my health/ mobility issues meant that I didn't have the energy to backtrack and/or try to find misplaced items. Now that I have to use a walker or 2 canes, I don't have extra hands to carry things. I wish that I had thought of it sooner. It hasn't completely eliminated the ''oh, crap - I left my phone downstairs", but it's a lot less and my family appreciates that.

Theoretically, eventually there should be enough spares I will come across them every time I turn around, and maybe some of them won't even be the broken ones that only half-work, but which I held onto because I can never find any of the spares and a half-working set is better than no set. Also applies to reading glasses, pens, and phone chargers. ADHD is why I buy earbuds, reading glasses, charging cords, nail clippers, and any number of other things in bulk packages.

I did have to work up to the responsibility, but I now have a set of really high quality IEMs that I haven't lost yet. * I drink (imbibe?) Soylent for breakfast and lunch. It's not for everyone, and I wish it didn't involve as much plastic, but I waste so much food if it has to be stored in the cold-box of oblivion, so it's worth it. Bonus: never have to wonder what to eat, what to buy, spend time preparing and cooking.

I never ever raised my hand against someone- wait no. That's not true. I ran out on a discussion or a monolouge that was held for 2 hours and I said I could not take it amymore, I wanted to calm down and TRIED to leave. But the other person wanted to " win" the discussion by Beratung me until I couldn't take it anymore and making me flip out - so that I looked like the crazy one. But this time I refused. I ALREADY SAID VERY LOUD TO OLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE, I WANTED TO GO, I WOULD TEXT OR CALL TOMORROW, but I refused to let his tactic make me go *verbally* mad. I had paid for my drink and repeatedly, uncreasingly loud for everyone to hear said I wanted to go and be left alone . I went out of the Restaurant , but then he cane after me. At first going un my usual marching tempo then running , rhen sprinting. My appartement 100 feet away , so I already had my keys out in my hand, because I knew he wouldn't let me out of this "dialogue" , when he suddenly cought me, grabbed my shoulders, spun me around, he was already SO in my face and I raised my hands in front of my face and because my hands aren't big, a part of my keys or the chain and carabiner must have stuck out and scratched him on the forehead. It was not intentional. I SAID I WANTED TO GO AND LRFT ALONE 10 TIMES ! ( I was trying so hard to remove myself from when I felt I could loose my temper - VERBALLY!) I asked several people if I ever raised a hand . The one closest to me are the ones who likely upset me. They all said no. Atm I can be verbaally nasty to cry and apologise a 100 times 20 minutes later because I didn't realise soon enough before I was overwhelmed...)
