This completely coins it! This is exactly how it is! I had no idea this was an ADHD thing! Maybe it was ADHD people who coined the term “I can picture it perfectly”.

Give homes to shelter animals, don't buy dogs for thousands of pounds. And don't make videos encouraging people to give animals as gifts.

I’m constantly late for things like Dr’s Appointments, scheduled things but tell me I need to get a train & my ass will be there either 30 minutes early or 2 hours late. I set all my public transport apps to ‘slowest’ walking speed with at least 10 minutes to get between connections because I’m so time blind I can’t accurately judge how long I’ve been travelling/walking or especially time passing while I’m indoors no matter how frequently I check my watch.

The thing is… it’s more of a ‘I’m trying to avoid getting distracted’ than ‘I’m going to be late’ thing. If I get too comfortable, I’m going to think I have time to play on my phone for a few minutes and then… I’m late 💀

I’d sometimes have about three packs of toilet paper, and two loafs of bread, because I can’t remember if I bought any, when I’m in the supermarket. 😅

Could someone seriously explain this phenomena: if I have nothing planned, I can get up, sort my flat (apartment) out and have a really productive day doing odd jobs for others without issue but if I know that at some point I've got to go out and do something, I'd rather turn my phone off and go to bed, regardless of the time or consequences

Sorry, sis, that’s not ADHD. I’m very ADHD and I’m also very aware that my children and my husband exist when they’re not right in front of me. I like most of your content, but this one sucks.
