These days I only go there to snack, it feels like it's become more of a uni student hangout with a lot of sweet unusual delights from other countries, lol. This market is also known as the Campuchia Market where I believe many Cambodians started a community after fleeing Pol Pot in the late 70s. Thanks for the vid!

I hope that you can have a chance to enjoy the atmosphere of Dong Du street, Ward Ben Nghe, District 1, Ho Chi Minh city at night in the future. I believe that it's a relaxing experience that you should try once. There is a special drink called "Dong Du strawberry tea". I hope that you can try it in the future if you have a chance to come back to Saigon. Thanks for this vlog. That's so amazing. Jena and you make my day🥰🥰🥰

@@Chai_Travel I won’t be in Vietnam until April unfortunately but that’s ok. I have a day spare before my 7 day tour. Thanks again for the great content. I did see you mention you are based normally in Chiang Mai? I will be there mid January and have never been before. ☺️

Which do you think has the better dating scene? Saigon or Hanoi? Black men said the women are very friendly in Hanoi.
@Chai_Travel11 ай бұрын
I'm not too sure about this but I reckon Saigon (because there are more single people) the dating scene is better. I'm not single anymore so I'm not the best person to ask though :)

Nice bro! Can I survive as a vegetarian at this market?
@Chai_Travel11 ай бұрын
Cheerse mate! I think you still would enjoy the market but there is not a major amount of vegetarian options. I think slowly, in every big Asian city no matter where getting more common to find vegetarian options. Loose from this market there are a lot of vegetarian restaurants in Saigon 😁

@Chai travel why are leave the believe what your mother birthplace come from. Can you give the reason? As I know that believe is perfect, but why leave something that perfect in life and better. What happen to your mother now. I believe many Indonesia want to know about this. What the mindset or believe those who live in Nederland? Why are you scare to talk about that?
@Chai_Travel11 ай бұрын
I'm sorry. I don’t understand everything you say there so I try to give answer to what I think you asked me: My mom was adopted in Solo, Java, Indonesia in 1959. I've been searching for my family and unfortunately I could not find them yet. Unfortunately I don’t have all the money and time to keep on searching and to stay in Indonesia. My mother is still working and she's not able to come over to Indonesia (finance and time are big factors). Hopefully we are in the position to come back to Indonesia next year and this time with my mom. Then again, we are dependent on money and time. Also, I've been running a KZbin channel for nearly 3 years now and I'm not only based in Indonesia but I'm trying to go through all the 11counties in South East Asia. I don’t understand the last two questions. Please feel free to ask me more questions. Maybe ask one question at the time so I'm able to answer your questions better.
