The Adventures with Bill is the best part. The guy who plays Bill does an amazing job. The looks on his face, that smile and what happens all combine to create the funniest parts of this show. I remember when this was on PBS I used to always enjoy the Adventures with Bill the most. I still find Bill hilarious.

It's interesting seeing some of these older episodes for the first time. Especially seeing some characters who didn't stick around for the later seasons, as well as some who's first appearance was much sooner than I would've expected. Of course, the same can also be said about the segments.

This reply is really late but I have a few sets of metrics tool so why not the other way around.
@captaincanuck45763 жыл бұрын
Well I guess I can answer the question after six years (even though you probably found out already). We once used imperial exclusively (and not u.s customary imperial), for a long time,and now we have a mixed system where lots of building plans,and trades work is done in imperial,and we use metric for food,and volume,velocity,and long distances. A person is just as likely to use metric or imperial for anything over 200 pounds unless they work in any medical,or sports related profession,it's also not unusual to meet somebody that uses imperial for distance up until a kilometer (which is strange because they go inches,feet,yards,kilometers). What else... Automotive trades are 90% metric but I imagine it's like that in the states aswell,and any government job besides a trades related positions will use only metric. I can't speak much to our aerospace manufacturing,but I think it's fair to assume that's done in metric. I hope even though you probably found some of this out,I was still able to give you some good insight into how strange our measuring system really is.
