PSVR2 already had incredible games like GT7, Pavlov, No Man’s Sky, Hidden Places, Red Matter and Pistol Whip et al. All these new games are icing on the cake!!!

Agreed. The PSVR2 library has plenty of absolute bangers already, but some of the games on the horizon look like they're really gonna blow us away. Don't know Hidden Places ... do you mean Puzzling Places, by any chance? 🤷‍♂️

I was gobsmacked when they announced Hitman! One of my favourite flatscreen games put into VR is just amazing! Behemoth is also one im looking forward to. It looks insanely high quality and that's from a demo a couple months ago!

It was already on psvr1 but it barely got any coverage for some reason when that happened. Excited to play it with the haptics, sense controllers and better visuals. The original used a DualShock 4 which was weird so your hands felt basically tied together but it was one of the only ways to get analog movement in vr on ps4 due to the ps move controllers being awful.

Just remember that that demo for behemoth is not in the actual game and was only made for demo purposes.

Just want to hop in and correct here - the enemies, locations and fights in the Behemoth demo (at least the snowy one I played) ARE in the game, but have more space between each moment. the section I played was just condensed from a few hours down to around 35-40 mins.

I would wait because the psvr version, even the pcvr version had a bunch of jank that really ruined the experience. At least imo

pre-ordered this one then when i went to boot it up my VR controller broke and I'm still waiting for it to be fixed by Sony :( keep seeing good things about it and it's driving me crazy ahaha.

This is getting exciting, it was a few years after the PS5 came out that the devs really got a hold on what it was capable of (Ragnarok as just one shinging example) It looks like we are starting to see the same with the PSVR2, great news !!! 😊

Hitman could be game of the year for me if it's done right I think it'll be good I'm hoping the quest game was just a cash grab and all their resources are going into the psvr2 version it's one of the main reasons I bought a psvr2 cause I heard that the psvr1 version was good and was hoping they'd port it over but when the announced the quest game I didn't think we'd get it

I want every one of these games! Crazy that there are so many great games coming this year for PSVR2. Meanwhile, not a lot excites me for standard PS5 after Astrobot. VR is alive and well.

Exocars is October. Flatout doesn't have a release date. I would guess later next year.

@@ryanbanow8898 - While launch goals are obviously subject to shifting, I’m almost certain that I saw 2024 as the intent for FLATOUT VR. That said, I cannot quickly locate a source to confirm it so perhaps it was only suggested in a livestream discussion or some other vague way. It’s plausible that I erroneously blurred the 2024 launch goal for TROMBONE CHAMP: UNFLATTENED with it. I still can’t shake the feeling that I previously managed to confirm it for my own curiosity, but the lack of a trailer saying “2024” belies that feeling. Still stoked for an impending EXOCARS VR, though! 😜

Man, you missed out on Arken Age. No official release date yet, but from their discord it sounds like they're almost finished the game. Just squashing a few bugs found by their PC VR beta testers, and maybe doing a short PSVR 2 beta. Should be out by the end of the year. And Starship Troopers looks like garbage. Seriously, compare it to Farpoint, which came out 6 years ago on inferior hardware.

Please don't ruin other people's excitement. Starship troopers may not look good, but you should try it before coming to an opinion, also meta and psvr2 are both good ways to play vr so there's no need for the elitism about the quest devices.

@@shrekshrek obviously, lol. The PSVR1 library has had 8 years to build up. No console (or peripheral) has EVER had as many quality games AT LAUNCH as the PSVR2 had, and there's been a steady supply of new ones ever since. The next few months are going to be even better! PSVR2 is only just getting started!
