@@21slong1 I literally live with her in real life. That’s not what likely happened. What happened is exactly how she described it. Not so fun fact: What the doctor did is called fertility fraud. It’s actually still legal in most of the US. It’s disturbingly common, there was actually a doctor named Donald Cline who inseminated over 50 women with his own sperm. It’s not considered rape due to an antiquated legal definition of the word.

I have EDS that was activated by lyme disease AND my siblings and I came from a sperm donor, but we're full siblings because we came from the same one because you do actually get to choose the person you get pregnant from like a little catalogue, so that doctor is fucked up as hell. Anyway this video was made specifically for me, I am the target demographic.

@@decayedalone what the fuck we’re literally the same person?? And yeah running theory is that the gene wasn’t active until I got Lyme so I had minor symptoms like hypermobility that didn’t cause any pain as a child and after I got Lyme it started doing its thing. If you changed after Lyme it could be chronic Lyme or it could be that triggered the onset of EDS
@LLWW
@LLWW 3 жыл бұрын
That's bullshit. You either are born with it or aren't. You can't just develop the issues that come with EDS from Lyme. Lyme could of made it more noticeable but you didn't just wake up one day with super elastic skin and dislocated your burns.
@cosmicdust2668
@cosmicdust2668 3 жыл бұрын
@@LLWW ok. I was born with the gene but it wasn’t incredibly active so I was hyper mobile but didn’t experience chronic pain. Lyme triggered the gene to become more active and actually trigger the progression like what happened to the girl in the video. My collagen production changed and I couldn’t do things the way I used to be able to. But to be honest, I don’t fully understand it. The world isn’t exactly overflowing with research on EDS, especially experiences like mine and the girl in the video. I’m But that kind of specificity isn’t necessary in the context of a comment on this video. Because you can extrapolate that the reason I posted it is because the same thing happened to me. Also, in what fucking world is it appropriate to call a stranger talking about their health problems bullshit? You’re not me, you don’t have my experience, you haven’t been to all the doctors I have, you haven’t spend nights reading articles about my issues the way I have, you haven’t stared at the ceiling past 3 am wondering if you’re actually experiencing something different than everyone else and you’re just making a big deal out of nothing the way I have. You didn’t feel the deep relief finally, FINALLY hearing about a story like yours in this video like I did. But you don’t need to know all that to be respectful This is so beyond disrespectful. I cannot imagine what possessed you in the moment of typing this. If you don’t understand, ask. Don’t call a stranger talking about their experiences bullshit, especially when you don’t even remotely have the whole story. Jesus Christ.

Been born with h-EDS and its not really as miserable as you can find it described online unless it's one of the more severe diagnoses/chronic - you're just really flexible, stretchy, and super soft skin which does very much bruise and cut easily although there's a lot of joint pain and discomfort (also takes way longer to heal than regular people and can cause permanent damage in joints/ligaments from very basic sprains + there are cases where it causes mutations in your body that basically gives you a different type of collagen though I'm not sure if this is only for a few or for everyone) - there are different levels of EDS and depending on that sort of implicates whether you actually need medical assistance because otherwise it can be seen as a 'mild annoyance' throughout day-to-day-life :) Edit: this is just a brief description btw - not anything in-depth
