Nice ! Looks simple enough ..... I tried clay pot rice on the stove using my staub Dutch pot ... Hard to gauge how much liquid to add since I put 1/2 glutinous rice and 1/2 jasmine rice. And I half cook the chicken , mushroom before I add to the top of raw rice . Good flavour but I found it too wet. So I leave it for day 2 and it’s much better as the wetness dry up a bit. But this recipe looks easier and I might give it a try in couple of weeks. If he comes out good, I would cook this instead of clay pot rice . Roland ..... thanks for adjusting recipes with simple steps! My sons won’t cook it if the steps and number of ingredients is too long . 😏😏😏. Lazy , huh?

I don't have a rice cooker however I have a enameled cast-iron pot that I always cook rice in if I put in all those other ingredients do you think I would need to add a bit more water then if I was cooking regular rice? This rice cooker is perfect! I use it only for me kzbin.infoUgkxviiltW7NlHbp_VL_bLbIkbLAvILVhnia and sometimes me and my friend so the small size is really great for counter space since we never need to make all that much. I have been using it now for about 2 months and it still works perfectly. I use it for both rice and vegetables (better for harder vegetables like green beans and carrots, it made my broccoli way too smoosh-y for my taste). It keeps your rice on keep warm automatically which I really like, and I’ve used a few of the settings, flash rice, white rice, brown rice, and steam, and they all work super well for me, although I don’t like smooshy rice so I’ll usually use flash rice. It’s super easy to clean either in dishwasher or hand wash, and it’s pretty easy to get rice out of the grooves by where the container comes out. I assume this one will last me a long time but if I ever need another I will definitely be getting this one again!

are we allowed to eat the chinese sausage with casing on? its so hard to remove them
@spicenpans4 жыл бұрын
Yes you can but you might find it easier to bite into without the casing. Just soak the chinese sausage in hot water for a while - cut it into half width wise and the casing should slide off easily. Happy cooking!
@saltran98634 жыл бұрын
I find the casings easy to remove when you gently rub the sausages under running water. The casings will loosen within a minute and less.
