I watched your previous videos on sulphur. I mix ss with fenugreek oil and rosemary and mint. I take a supplement with cysteine and methionine. I also use black rice water. I have Alopecia areata. I have 3 patches. 2 have stunted growth. 1 with baldness. Since starting this regime. 1 short patch is growing back and the bald spots are filling in. So I can say that this works. I have almost a full head of hair since 2013. So big thanks for your info

I just want to say thank you for giving us all information needed to care for our hair. After using your tips and finding a routine that works for me, my hair has been thriving. I did a length check yesterday and was happy to see that my hair, when stretched, has grown to just about shoulder length - and this is from being stuck at neck length for quite a while. I've learned to love my hair and she loves me back! I'd be interested in seeing content related to post-menopausal, high porosity hair care for fine hair curlies. Thank you for all you do for us! @@CurlyChemistry It is said that MSM dissolves in water and not oil? What do you think of using it in a water dilution and spraying directly to the scalp? Could you recommend water to MSM ratio and how often to apply weekly as an example please?
@BellaHairCare4u
@BellaHairCare4u 3 жыл бұрын
@@christine1962ful the instructions of use is normally on the container. Everyone recommends tapering your dose over 2 week intervals. As in once daily to twice daily, and increasing grams as tolerated. Start at 1/8tsp to 1cup or so of orange juice. In order for MSM to be better effective you have to incorporate a certain amount of vitamin c (I’m not sure how much). MSM also dries you out so you have to drink PLENTY OF WATER. I love Sulfur 8. I started using it again early this year, specifically on my scalp, and I haven't had dandruff problems in a long time. I really appreciate your videos where you bust myths about ingredients in natural hair community. I used to think silicones and grease are the devil but your videos convinced me otherwise and now my hair has never been healthier. In 2022 I would like to see more videos on myths about ingredients especially with this clean beauty trend of exaggerating claims about ingredients for marketing purposes. I would also appreciate more videos on shampoos, bentonite clay and ayurvedic cleansers like shikakai and areetha. For shampoos I'm interested in the differences between surfactants. Why do some shampoos with gentle cleansers strip the hair and why do some sulphate shampoos leave the hair moisturised and not stripped? Are sulpahtes the only clarifying ingredients and is there such a thing as sulfate-free clarifying shampoo. Is a shampoo with suphates automatically a clarifying shampoo? Why does a bottle claim that a shampoo is moisturising but when you use it it strips your hair in one wash? And I'm interested in knowing how bentonite clay and similar clays work and if they really clean the hair. And is it true that they are clarifying? There is so much conflicting information and cosmetologists' opinions are divided on this topic. I would appreciate insights from a cosmetic chemist. I would also like to know if shikakai and areetha are as effective as store bought shmapoo. Can they really wash off store bought products produced in the lab with traditional formulas or do they only work on similar natural ingredients?

Thank You ❤ It’s funny because I didn’t even look at the date you loaded this video- and when you said what kind of information do we want from you from the new year I’m thinking you talking about 2024😂 Two years later and your video is still helpful.

Tanya, love you, love you, love you. I've learnt soooo much from you. Here's a couple topics I'd like you to discuss: Why hair falls out due to stress and solutions to stop the falling out. Also is there something to prevent or slow down the graying process?

So glad I found your channel. I want to incorporate sulfur. I'm leaning toward topical treatments. So I'll look into those product recommendations.

👋🏾 I’d like to see vids on how to repair hair (ie: after using a keratin treatment that requires straightening the hair); and how low cal diets affect the quality of hair, how long it takes to see the damage and how long it will take to repair the damage. Thank you!!

Great and helpful video! This is the first one of yours that I’ve seen, so Idk if you’ve done this idea already, but I think a lot of people may benefit from an education on ingredients and their scientific names. What I mean by that, is that I’ve seen a lot of people say, “if I can’t pronounce it or recognize it, it’s not a good ingredient,” and I think that your channel could at least help present an informed view on that. Most people would struggle to pronounce/recognize the botanical names for aloe vera or shea butter, but they don’t doubt that those are healthy. So I think it’s just an example of one person starting what appears to be a smart talking point, that is not necessarily based in truth. With your science background, I think the video could at least be worth making to present a fuller view. Thanks love! 💗
