My mom used to put this on my hair as well (I’m also Nigerian) and my hair grew so long! Then I stopped and started getting itchy scalps and what not. Started using grease again and wow. I add Indian hemp, Amla oil, essential oils, Shea butter to mine and it does wanders

I have been saying this over and over we as black women have gotten away from what we know work's and that's greasing the scalp!! I did this even when my hair was relaxed!! I'm natural now and I love it but I do it more now then ever. MOISTURE IS KEY!!!

@@Shrimp459 i don't think you can just get it anywhere, i get mine at an African store not that close to me ( i live in canada). you are able to, but the smell is very strong, people will be able to notice the smell as they pass by, and you'll have to get used to your eyes and nose being simulated. zara is able to have easy access to aboniki because she lives in Nigeria. to get something similar you can use vick + peppermint oil.

My mom and my her hair dresser has used grease on my scalp every since I was a kid and my hair was just nice and full always so when I was old enough to use it I did. I’ve never strayed away from using hair grease on my scalp and hair and tbh I don’t think I will every stop using grease on my head as long as I can. I even use my own mixtures of hair grease

I am really glad you live in Nigeria currently. But i will rather use virgin hair fertilizer than aboniki balm. Me and that bad boy have a terrible history. I heard sulphur 8, that brand has synthetic sulphur. I have had amazing results with my daughters' hair using Soulmate sulphur, dirt cheap and very efficient. If you can use and review their sulphur cream, it wil be great. They also have this amazingly great leave in. Its in a jar like blue magic. Really potent stuff.

Gday luv Just mixed my sulfur 8 with extra virgin olive oil oil fenueek oil lavender oil tea tree oil Cocoanut oil peppermint oil and shea butter I threw in a tad of vitamin E as well couple of drops of sage and ground some thyme/rosemary I know it's going to work Along with biotin And great diet beans every day Thanks luv

I mix my sulfar 8 with blue magic, wild hair growth (white bottle), doo gro, peppermint oil and t- tree oil. My hair has definitely gotten thicker and longer. I apply this mixture to my scalp and hair after washing. Throughout the week however i just use my t tree and peppermint oil to prevent itching. Im usually alternating though with my mixtures. I will try the monistat tho into the mix/vapor rub. The smells r going to b intense but i love it !!!!

This EXACT same thing happened to me when I went natural. It was soooooo frustrating! I went back to using sulfate shampoo and I also buy sulfur powder, mix it with vaseline and apply it to my scalp. So glad I found your channel. I can use more scalp tips. I went to a dermatologist and got ketoconazole but I would like something that I don't need a prescription for.

Ketoconazole is a MOOD though! It’s very effective. I would keep using it if my derm recommended it tbvh. This will help too but ketoconazole is one of my fave antifungals.

Ladies I purchased and created the grease! It smells like pepto bismol lol at first anyway. After a few hours the sulfer really comes through. I personally don’t like the smell. After two days I washed it out. I bought the ingredients in bulk and so I have several jars. Although the product seems great, so can’t with the sulfer smell. If anyone wants to purchase a jar from me please let me know, I would hate for it to go to waste.

We all have different hair textures and porosity so find out what works for you by testing until you get your perfect routine for your texture and porosity. KZbinrs praised Shea butter . however, Shea butter is a night mare to my skin and hair. I am fine textured and high porosity. Good luck

Hey girl! I've been gathering all the ingredients to make this concoction, but I have done research on the Sulfur8 conditioner and it contains Triclosan, which was banned by the FDA. You yourself said it was banned, so should I really be putting this in my hair? I'm confused.

As a child my mom always use grease on our hair and my hair was great and good lengths and thick I really don’t know why I stop it I thinking listening that petroleum, mineral oil isn’t good , But now I am going back to them God bless you 🙏🏽😘

🌞🌞🌞🌹🌹🌹🌹😊😊😊😊😊 growth oil please. More details on the fungus cream because I am afraid to put antifungal cream on my hair. I definitely use food herbs, henna, fenugreek, blue magic grease, sulfur8, doo grow mega thick, Africa best max growth grease, all mixed in a jar to seal my hair and scalp. I know it's a lot. Thanks for letting us know that lanolin is the thick wax, my hair loves grease because of the thickness it seals my moisture for 3 days.

Sis why didn't you make this video earlier😂 so i have a hair that is soft i went bald march cuz of dye damage i don't have good edges and my hair don't grow fast but its all grown now guess what only yesterday after my protein treatment with egg and then i used aboniki Jamaican castor oil i can't even put a comb on my hair it has become soooo thick and that's how it should be like my hair has never been this thick now i feel my 4 c 😂but the hole house has been smelling aboniki and my nigerian mum isnt having it 😂😂😂😂 but i will continue this, i saw a difference in just a day use even without sulfur 8 it works well thank u❤😍
