Hasbro in the 2010s pitched together a plan to connect all Transformers media as one single "canon", pitched as The Aligned Continuity. Allthough I think the problem is that every creator and writer had their own plan for what they wanted to do with the stories they had in mind. Wether it's the games or comics. Even the writers of Transformers Prime expressed focusing on doing their own thing. Highmoon Games studio seem to have a lot of love for the G1 era of TF, with tons of references to the old show and movie and even using The Touch as the credits song. TLDR: Transformers fans basically chose for themselves if they want to treat it all as one canon (and just accept the many continuity errors/retcons), or treat each property seperately. To be frank it's up to you.

I think both games has their own identity. War has more bleak atmosphere, more character to play as in most level & 8/9 boss fights (Fall has only 3/4 boss fight) Fall is more hype, has more varieties in term of level design & emotional.

High moon studios basically made 4 games at the same time with negative time to do it all. When they somehow managed to make all of them on time in good to amazing states, activision took that as a sign to give them even more crunch with a smaller budget and threw them into the call of duty mines when they finally cracked under the pressure.

As a fan of both Transformers and your videos, first, this is a delight to watch, and second, I hope this helps. (Unbearable yap sesh.) I’m late to watching this video, so if you haven’t seen TF One yet, absolutely do yourself the favor. That movie is fully set on its own Cybertron with its own solid origin for Optimus and Megatron. The animation is great and fluid with colors that stand out more than the games, and action that’s not only well choreographed, but creative in regard to transformations, being part of the combat itself. The movie is funny and gripping at the same time with a story that not only is solid, but brings a lot of lore bits into the mainstream, with concepts like the 13 Primes and old characters from the very beginning (and in between) getting their first on-screen appearance. It’s not exactly like the Cybertron games, but based on how you described it, I’d say it’s as damn close as we’re gonna get for a while, with a sequel already planned. As for games, there’s mostly mobile games and iffy-looking console games that I haven’t tried (I’ve played a few TF games, but not all of them), but there is one that’s currently in development hell called Reactivate. So far, there have been leaked cutscenes, 2 2-packs of toys, a game trailer, and captures of gameplay: what’s now old screenshots to somewhat recent early gameplay. I don’t feel too confident that this game will come out soon, hell, at all, but enough has been done to it, and it’s giving me hope. With any luck, that game (should it come out) will be able to capture some of the same magic these legendary Cybertron games had all those years ago.
