7:16 the best strategy is to arrive at 12 min and LEAVE at 20-25. That way the legendary chest is way cheaper the alloy unit îs easier and you have a higher chance at surviving past stage 5

Good video, however I'd recommend trying to find a personality that makes you more of a unique individual on the platform. This video felt far too close to UpIsNotJump's style of content creation where it was hyperactivity expressed through bizarre snippets and shortfire jokes. Still enjoyable to watch tho!

I saw you asked for criticism in another comment so I gotchu homie. DISCLAIMER: Before I jump into the Cons and Pros, I know. Alot. About Ror2. So Idk how you should approach other games maybe, but Ik how you should approach Ror2 and you did a fantastic job for Ror2 at least. Other games might have other rules how you approach them, involving yourself in the community through a discord server or other means will go a long way to learn how to approach a game if you yourself are not a part of the community yet or generally uncertain how to address an aspect of the game. CONS: I had to seriously nit pick your video for flaws I am not even joking but praise is for the third paragraph. I would tone it down on the shouting jokes (Example - 2:40), adding volume takes away from the humor I've found and your flat tone one-off jokes are much more funny and pleasant for my eardrums. Less voice modifications for humor as well, same thing as the shouting jokes have like max 3 in a video and they're still funny, past that and my eardrums are ringing more than I'd like. From a information standpoint you missed out on a few things, namely the lack of any mention of any of the portal systems including obliteration, although if the obliteration was for spoiler protection I understand. You had gameplay of Gold portal and music from Void Fields (and you are clearly acquainted with The Boi Doggo itself Acrid), and not to be the asshole who pushes for the 10min mark but you could certainly fill this video up more with the information you missed. The bigger one for me personally is my favorite part of the game: The fabled "god run" and multiple loops. If you haven't even had a god run yet understandable, I recommend playing the game until you do :). But you should've covered the looping through stages system, it's what I believe transforms this game from great to literal top 10 for me. I'll save you my description of it as it would make this already huge comment the size of my "homework" folder. I said a little about this in my disclaimer but in general with a game to make sure you didn't miss anything important I would double check with the community (discord servers work best I've found but there are plenty of subreddits, myspace pages, pigeon centers, etc. to talk to a certain community). Even if you're 100% sure you didn't miss anything it's always worth a check, the fans of the game will appreciate it. Just say you're making a video showcasing this game with bullet points of what you have covered and (at least for this game, the Ror2 community is literally the most friendly place on the internet) someone, ideally a moderator or someone reputable, will let you know if you missed anything or if you're good. As with all advice, if you don't like something someone thinks you should showcase it's still your video, still create what you feel like is the best product not what other people think is the best product (goes for my criticism too ofc). Finally, you don't have to grow your channel if you don't want to obviously but if that's the direction you want to take I would recommend looking into how to make your videos fit the "KZbin Algorithm" without taking away any of the quality. I am not a youtuber, so I have no idea how to help you there, but there's gotta be a guide somewhere that can. You're doing something right at least since this video got in my recommended but this video is honestly great and I'm assuming the same about your others so something disproportionate is happening with your quality and your subscriber and viewer base. Tiny, tiny thing especially because the "Chris Chris" joke was funny (I've made the same one lol), but if you actually have an issue with pronunciation in the future look up the word, Google knows all (again not a real issue especially since it was intentional, but I'm nit picking here). PROS: What you did right is important to know too. First off you used the in-game soundtrack, which as you said for Ror2 is a masterpiece and deserves to be utilized. My first complaint on Ror2-specific videos is when they add a random hype song when the original soundtrack deserves more exposure, just like your channel :). You're very well informed about the game but lots of youtubers are. What stands out to me is your deliverance of the information. I've seen other youtubers, big and small, struggle to keep their descriptions of some aspects of the game simple, like the time-based mechanic with the rising difficulty is one I always see get butchered in some way. Your deliverance of information is very clear and easy to follow just by voicing your thought process with a bit of humor, which always helps. I will definitely be using your video to show my friends/new players to illustrate how a bunch of these mechanics work, because you do better than most. You also don't ignore info that's too hard to make easy to explain, the other route I've seen youtubers take. You have all the info and you deliver all the info in a way I understood everything even if I didn't have a single hour in the game. Again, ding for no God run or loop info :). Bonus points for also telling the viewer about Ror1 and the development team Hopoo Games, they deserve all the praise they can get and they normally get ignored, especially the detail that this masterpiece was made by only 3 PEOPLE (on its main development team at least, who knows what the out-sourced companies did). I think you wrote a script (at least it sounds like you did, if you were just going off the top of your head my god your ad-lib is insane) and it's very well done but even better perfectly executed. You're relatable and normal but still sound intelligent and well-informed that's very important. Most importantly you made me laugh. Your humor reminds me a lot of Gigguk's (if you're a Weeb you know him) which is a good thing. Sorry if this is more than you wanted, I'm on my ADHD meds and just sorta went off lol. Gud shit, I wanna go binge your other videos now :).

Not to nitpick but...there have been plenty of 3D roguelites you may have missed over the years: Delver Eldrich Everspace Strafe Sublevel Zero Ziggurat To name a few. Now Risk of Rain 2 might be one of the best (if not the best) of the lot, but it does have some company in its sub-genre

This review perfectly channels the chaotic dumb fun that the game is, but the main thing that you really glossed over is the lore. On the surface, RoR2 is a mindless roguelike of pure chaos, but when you start to research (and I mean *research*, because it's an absolute clusterfuck of information that requires a good few hours to read through and piece together) the story, it starts putting everything in context. And let me tell you, the "context" is easily one of the most nonsensical, deep, dark stories I've seen since the Hyperion Cantos. Once I got familiar with both RoR2 and the original, it really nailed home the fact that the foreboding vibe of "I'm not supposed to be here" is far more true than you'd think at first. The story of the planet Petrichor V is one that has only villains, and you are the worst of them...

For some reason I keep getting beetle queen and found a strat circle around the queen to get the beetle guard chasing am having trouble with them guards so you want to dodge them and get to a big hill after circling around 2 times the enemies are in one giant patch and I will have trouble getting up because there pushing each other. Also it’s okay to play on drizzle to UNLOCK characters and the beat the game but please play the harder modes to get a feel with the better and challenging experience
