My Mum used to work for a label management company opposite the Marquee back then. She got to see all the bands for free. My then 13 year old sister was at this gig.

I certainly was and am... orange sunshine, window pane, orange wedge, purple ozsley...domes,flats, gold to silver. Awesome weed from Mexican swamps to Bolivian red and multitudes of different of colors including rainbow. Not to mention hash, qualudes...714s,712s, Parrest400s and Optimil400s. Christmas trees and black beauty's to name some favorites. Those were the days for sure.

I prefer them like this. Stripped down less musical ‘bling’ no back ups just raw and loose. But this is actually incredibly tight just listen to Keith and his ‘Chuck’ riffing. Wow.

A friend once told me it was the notes they didn't play that made them great. Didn't understand what he meant at the time, but clearly that is the case. Mick isn't going to out sing anybody. Keith isn't going to out finger pick anyone, but when you put it all together it's like how did they make that sound so good.

Andy Johns said he witnessed the Stones screw around drunk & stoned in the studio and at around 3-4am they all of a sudden became the "greatest rock & roll band in the world"...that's when you roll the tape.

Aside from what aging will do automatically, it's pretty amazing that Mick, Keith, and Ronnie Wood, have essentially the same body shape they had at age 20. There's not too many ppl that can pull that off through their 40s 50s 60s and 70s. Also, this vid is a great example of the work ethic of the Stones and their dedication to the artist when doing a cover. Can't say enough about the talents of Mick Taylor, Bobby Keys and Jim Price either. They were the best!
