David, figuring out all of the angle cuts for the framing was awe inspiring. The rough lumber used gives the structure more strength than planed lumber with smaller dimensions. Doing all of this in 7 days is incredible even with some help by Dessy, her Mom and her brother. Can hardly wait for the next episode. 👍👍👍👍🏆🏆🙏🏻❤

we just put metal roof on a 9:56 porch. we did ours different. 2x4s, plywood, fabric, roofing. screws on flat areas of metal.

You don't have a condensate drain on the new roof, it will accumulate on the battens and create moisture! I would recommend to put the roof battens correctly.

In the states, there is precut foam that fits into the ridge cap for that purpose. Cheap and highly recommend it.

I put the ladder on the roof from the ground at the angle of the roof same way we fix roof or attached the antennas if you have seen that video. Hardest was working with limited space and the stress of not falling down and not cutting myself with the angle grinder but still cut the tiles correct. At the end of the day it worked perfectly.
