The first time I saw this movie was in a small cinema in my area. Knowing little about the movie, and expecting the theatre seats to be empty, we walked in to find almost all the seats taken and almost half of them were dressed like Tommy Wiseau. We found seats and started watching the film, only to be startled by a scene that caused the audience to jump up, scream and throw plastic spoons at the screen, yes, spoons. As it turns out, there is a framed picture of a spoon in many shots of the film. This experience was easily one of the greatest nights of my life. Thank you, Tommy Wiseau.

If you have any interest in The Room, you should totally read The Disaster Artist. It was written by Greg Sestero, who plays Mark, and is about the making of the movie. The book has also been bought by Seth Rogan and James Franco to be turned into a screenplay with a movie coming out this year. James Franco is playing Tommy, and his brother Dave is playing Mark. I could not be more excited for this movie.

Greg also switches between talking about his early years with Tommy and the actual drama happening on the set of The Room. All the things that happen when he's with Tommy just gets better and better.
