Sounds like you got a lemon, I have several 10/22 rifles and no problems. Buy only ruger magazines because aftermarket mags really suck. Contact ruger and explain your rifles issues, hopefully they will help you out. Good luck.

10/22 is a baseline firearm. Every shooter should have one. As with any mass-produced product, sometimes an item doesn't meet expectations. It is hard to love all the polymer and cost cutting. But......that's how they keep their manufacturing costs in check. Hopefully with time and more rounds yours will settle out to something tolerable for you. Enjoy the shoot!

I have a 10/22 breakdown 50th anniversary. edition No problem with mine whatso ever had Marlins always firing pin problems breaking Pain in the butt to clean Very expensive to fix I never had a problen loading my rotary magazine The wildcat the sights fell off would not run without a jam lots of stove pipes with all kinds of ammo My Ruger just keeps going and going learn hoe to load the magazine learn how to put it in correctly did you even read the manual Mine is almost 10 years old Polymer stock stainless barrel looks like the day it came from the factory

Of course I read the manual. I have large hands that makes these mags difficult plus there just awkward and clumsy just my opinion. Also just because yours works well doesn’t mean they all do that would be a 💯 success rate which is pretty much impossible. Happy shooting glad you enjoy yours mine is becoming less glitchy as I get more time on it.

my opinion ..yours is 420,00 reason being your in ca. and yours is stainless .my 10 round is flawless my bx 25 had issues until wrapped black tape on top (common issues) stocks are everywhere

I love my 10/22 but it’s built alittle better then the one you have. I even had one more like yours with barrel band. But sold it it was cheaply built but it was only 250. The one I like I spent about what you payed for the one you have now but California is a sh*t hole I would run.

Only video on here out 100s I’ve watched who claims the rotary mags are junk. You stand alone on this one. I would be pissed like you also having to pay the tax of living in CA. However your there by choice and you get what you pay there by choice 😉

Actually born in cali and help take care of my elderly parents so I have no option to leave currently. In the future I will definitely be leaving Commifornia
