The Ruger PC Carbine & PC Charger Just Got WAY MORE Ergonomic!

Installed on my PC Carbine this evening. I am no gunsmith, but with the install video and a couple of hiccups I got it done. Positive, crisp and solid operation - so much better than the stock cross-bolt. Thanks Cornerstone and TK.

Just received my saftey, mag button and BOTH charging handles. Look great. Dropped in. Look and function great! Well I spoke too soon. I did have a slight hicup with safety. Saftey Barrel ended up pointing correctly to starboard but upside down! Dough and oops. I would reccomend swapping push safety switch safety barrel on a loose trigger pack. Just wait untill fully assembled before adding levers permanently, they have to be off to fit through chassis. If this happens to you do not freak. Take a breath. Find a small allen wrench. Press through switch barrel hole to depress detent. Roll barrel gently forward and you will see slot in switch barrel and the side of detent. Shine it up. It is dark in there. Reach detent with micro screwdriver, depress gently. Gently press switch barrel clear of slot and rotate to correct side up. Do not pull out as you will displace detent and spring. There ya go.

OK, got this safety and it is MUCH better than the RUGER push button. Great for competition in Steel Challenge.

Hmmm... I have a TANDEMKROSS bolt spring on my PC chassis carbine (along with a several MCARBO parts) and it functions flawlessly. This TC safety looks very durable as wells ergonomic. I'll try it.

You can run cz p10 p09 and p07 mags in these if you switch to the Ruger American pistol magwell the catch holes line up

Alright! In my opinion, cross bolt safeties are inherently unsafe on weapons that might have to be used at night. On at least 2 occasions, I have unintentionally unset the safety on my Charger when picking it up at night. One time, I didn’t know it had happened. My fingertips don’t have headlights.

I installed my saftey and it went fine. The problem I ran into is the assembly of my lower. I could not get it on without removing the red switches and re-installing them. Maybe, I did something wrong.

No it won't. That would require a different safety with a third position.

Apparently I put mine in upside down. How do I get it out now? I don't have a flat spot with a hole it's round with 2 holes.

Do not buy this product until you are SURE that you can remove the factory safety. Mine, for whatever reason, will not come out. A local gunsmith also had no luck. I am now stuck with a useless product. Not to mention, I despise guns with cross bolt safety so my Ruger is going to collect dust.
