To anybody reading this comment rn: please for the love of everything that you consider sacred, read the book Night Circus. This short reminded me of it and how no other wordly concoction will probably ever be able to instil the same familiarity and in the same breath dreaminess and surrealism. It is an energy I will never be able to describe, if I am lucky enough to remember it from time to time going about my life, just the thought of never being able to experience it for the first time again rips air out of my lungs. It is magnificent and I want to share ut with you.

That's how I feel when anyone asks me to pick a favorite ANYTHING. Book? I can't even narrow it down to one per genre, and you want me to pick one book period?! Music? Hun, I can't even give you a favorite genre, let alone song or composition! Food? Are you kidding me?! How am I supposed to narrow THAT down?! The ONLY favorite things I have ever been able to narrow down are my favorite season and holiday, and both of those are based on a criteria of "which one causes me the LEAST pain and/or stress?" And that would be Summer (cold sensitive joints suck) and Thanksgiving (all I have to plan is a meal, no presents, surpises, or extra celebratory actions neccessary).
