Anyone else here because of Dr Jordan Petersons debate with Dr Richard Dawkins? Comment your profession below. It will be interesting to know who is learning about this book: I’m an electrical engineer

Yes, Dr. Peterson is the reason for my expanding book collection. In part he might be responsible for a deeply spiritual experience I had in February 2023. I work for a bank in their default loan serving department.

Thank you for this recording. The learned will no doubt mutter about various pronunciations, but the persistance of the reader is to be admired, and, not least, he clarity of speech, rythm and phrasing. The meaning is always clear, and I, for my part, felt deep gratitude to the reader for his/her work.

I am always glad to find the book I’ve been looking for is available for free, and even more so when it is a quality recording. This is a very niche, or esoteric subject. I’m both surprised and grateful to know that good people are doing good work for my benefit. I hope it is an equal solace for you to know that your work goes well utilized.

You have done a great service. Not only is this book very needed today, it is without an audio-book when the majority of the population struggle to read, never mind reading this type of material... Thank you very much!

@@alohm thank you for your comment, that makes me so happy. My natural talent is reading comprehension, and glad I can read interesting material and transform it into a way that can be consumed by a broader audience. So glad you see value in that

@@MichaelKuhlman yes, one quote in particular stood out: “The man who has made his choice, in favour of a profane life, never succeeds in completely doing away with religious behaviour… Even the most desacralized existence, still preserves traces of a religious valorization of the world. “

Good pacing, and your voice is pleasant to listen to. There's however a lot of stumbling over words, and in a book filled with words difficult to pronounce it does sound like the reader is in way over his head. That's not even mentioning that the pronunciation of french, german, and latin phrases and concepts make them sound completely alien to the reader and barely intelligible to the listener. Anyway, the effort is commendable.
