Could you do a theory about Lucky? He’s a dog covered with bandages! This is my theory: You are a kid who died in a crash (depending on the game) you are brought to the town to be in the Afterlife. That’s why everything goes together perfectly, the afterlife is supposed to be perfect and with the Egyptians they would bury you with things to have in the afterlife. That’s why you have a house set up for you. Also why you have a massive debt to pay. It would make sense that your dead because Coco is believed to be dead and she could have been brought there too. Ankha is an Egyptian cat resembling Cleopatra. She could have bandaged and mummified Lucky and brought him to the afterlife. Some games have the wishing well and a fountain that comes to life too, it’s magic. Also some of the animals in the game are mythical creatures like Cappin is. And, the town becomes your own like the Afterlife is. When you go to other people’s towns, that is their afterlife. This is all speculation but it makes sense. If you can debunk anything in this theory comment on this and I’ll change my comment to try and it in.

Yeah but while Tom Nook donates to you/villagers, Totakeke donates to kids around the world. It doesn't really matter though, because he's not a real person. I like to think that the creators of animal crossing take up Tota's (legacy?) And donate to starving kids.

The real story of K.K. Slider is actually the unique story, tho. Because everyone in the Animal Crossing world had also assumed that he had sold out. They thought that he was keeping the money from the sales of his music. Just like the theory had claimed. In Happy Home Designer, K.K. Slider finally sets the record straight. He made a living like everyone else. Until he found out that he could help children in need with his music. And that's when he begun to sell it. In regards to Tom Nook, it was actually his charitable giving to an orphanage that motivated and inspired K.K. to also lend a hand in that regard. K.K. had been very surprised in fact to learn that a ruthless business man like Nook was giving 90% of his personal earnings to said orphanage. So if a "fat cat" like Nook was being such a charitable person, why couldn't he be one too, right? And that's when he started selling his music.

Still, I appreciate that in New Horizons, K.K. still strums his guitar in the plaza. Performing for people on newly developed island gives him a chance to stick to his roots. In general, I like how ACNH you're not dwelling in a bustling city or busy town, but soaking in the scenery of a secluded island. Really gives off peaceful, country vibes.

Wait Remember that Boondox village in Wild World that's so dirt poor that your town hall asks for donations to go to this dirt poor community? What if KK actually financially supports that community now, as well as similar suffering communities? Maybe that's why we no longer have that donate to a poor village feature anymore? He says he used to be against it and maybe was a starving artist at one point in life but then decided to “sell out” but instead of keeping all the money he donated it to others so that he didn’t feel like a sell out and then learned how to provide for himself without taking the money that could be for others.
