I'm a Swede and have noticed an ongoing trend of hipster vegans trying to emulate a 19th century rural lifestyle, which is ironic since animal foods were the most favoured food items back then and considered a status symbol of health and wealth.

Ex vegan (2 years) I'd wake up with extreme hunger pangs in the middle of the night, bleeding gums and poor oral health, severe irritability and mood swings, poor skin, stomach cramps and many more issues. I remember eating lamb chops and my body felt so good I could feel it literally say THANK YOU to me. Stuck with keto/animal based and have never looked back.

I'm an 80s kid and I love the movie "Total Recall" with Arnold Schwarzenegger. I know he is a bodybuilder type in the movie, but one of the first scenes is him in the kitchen basically making a big vegan smoothie to start his day working in the concrete jungle of the future. That just goes to show how long "they" have been pushing this agenda of pills and powders for "health" using their good little slave boy, Arnie!

I HAD a bf of 8 years turn vegan on me. I watched him grow stupid over three years. His movements became slow and he lost all sense of urgency. It was like living with a ruminant animal.

Part of my family is Japanese and most of my fam is Korean and we don’t even eat green onions with fish or meat. It’s a fusion thing. Some people eat green onions with fried rice and soup or whatever, but I don’t like rice or leeks at all. They are not great for your gut 😂

Goatis, I am currently eating a carnivore diet (although I do eat sour kraut from time to time because I like it). I do cook most of my food but always as rare as I can cook it. I was wondering if you could do a video on your ideal diet? I’m sure you’ve made one before but I couldn’t find one. Any advice would be appreciated. I feel amazing as is. But I’m always open to try and improve

Hi Goatis, I'll tell you something interesting that I recently found out. (I'm sure you already know). I follow the raw Carnivore diet, okay, sometimes I eat cooked food, but in 99 percent of the cases, my food is raw meat and raw offal. I eat certain insects, too, also raw. Until now, very rarely do I indulge in some avocado. It's good fat and I love it. However, I recently purchased some beef hearts. Although I've eaten a variety of offal before, I've never eaten beef heart yet. However, now that I started eating it (raw, of couse!), well... the meat didn't really taste good, I'm not saying it was bad, but it was kind of "neutral". But the TALLOW that was on the heart! Even its color was different from the other tallow: yellowish! And this fat, the taste, oh, oh, oh! I ate them all in one sitting! It was far better than any avocado. And I thought to myself, it's stupid to spend a lot of money on avocados when they cost such a hideous amount, much more expensive than beef hearts, because I can get a big, fatty beef heart for less than $12, it has a lot more nutrition than a couple of avocados, and I can't store avocados for long, but I can simply freeze the heart for as long as I want... So from now on I'd rather spend my money on beef hearts! Because of the FAT surrounding the heart! I don't think it's good to call humans carnivore race. Human race are LIPIVORE! Because we were mainly looking for FATTY meats in ancient times!

Hey Goatis, what do you think about Paul Saladino's video "Managing Iron Overload with Phlebotomy"? He uploaded it about 2 months ago. He of course must be doing something wrong as phlebotomy is unnatural but since he follows a diet i suppose you mostly agree, what do you think is the problem? Thanks!

I would also like to hear what he thinks about Paul’s iron overload management. Have you experienced iron overload on carnivore?
@melisand8295
@melisand8295 Жыл бұрын
Iron overload would generally be associated with haemochromatosis a genetic mutation that means the body is fabulous at scavenging iron. Too fabulous in that your iron and ferritin levels are far too high. The body can then begin to store it in terrible places like the brain and the heart . Management is usually having blood taken. If you're concerned this is a 'see your GP' situation for a diagnosis. My mother simply refuses to eat red meat and manages hers that way. Does pose some interesting problems for a carnivore diet.
