I don’t think I’ll ever stick to one diet or type of food for most of my life but as I plan my future as a young guy, I plan to eat mainly fish and red Meats in my diet going on as those 2 mixed w certain veggies have made my arthritis and body feel amazing

Something that I realized and it may help others. Is in the morning I fast I only drink coffee or tea and usually around 10 I’ll have my first meal: eggs, bacon, avocado and potato’s. Then around 3 I have a whole chicken breast avocado and greens. Then I’ll go workout after my work out I eat steak about a pound of steak (yes a pound I’ve weighed it) broccoli and rice. Your body will break it down fairly quick and then 30 mins before bed a protein shake. Hopefully that helps others and you could implement it to your routine if it helps.

See, it's funny how Bruce Lee believed that the body was like a car, you don't run a car on empty to tank. Yet I agree with this guy, I can't eat in the morning or before working out. I much prefer and have a better session on an empty gut or fasting. My workouts are much better and nothing sitting in my gut waiting to come back up. 😂🙏 From what I've learned, eating less is better for your health, over eating is bad and causes more health problems in its self. Blame consumerism and greed, I only take what I need and nothing more. I don't like feeling like a stuffed turkey after eating.🙏🇬🇧

The difference is your body isnt empty on fuel just cause you havent ate. Our bodies story energy unlike a car.

It's not for everyone. Works for me though. As just a recreational athlete who wants to simplify a healthy lifestyle

@@OGAesthetics Maybe you haven't given your body enough time to fully adapt to this way of eating. It takes different amounts of time for different people.

I would suggest eating more, specifically fat. That and adding more electrolytes. I’m not an expert, hopefully implementing these may help you some. Good luck.

Does somebody got tips/experience with the carnivore diet while going to the gym? I am afraid of not performing the same (power & growth) while getting rid of carbs

I needed to include much more electrolytes but otherwise I dont have any problems training at 75-90% red meat carnivore depending on the weak. I go to the gym before my first meal of the day and Im often fine not eating till later in the day but I do have a scoop of whey protein with coffee before and after on the 3 days I work out a week. My training includes a few compounds usually 8-15 reps followed by some isos that are typically 8-20 and I often will push past true failure. Usually I eat at lunch time 11-1 but I can go till 4-7 on days Im busy even after training. (Im not completely strict but most days I eat about 2 lbs of steak with steak sauce in one sitting at 205 lbs)

I’m basically 75% protein, 25% car. I’ll run leaner some days but that works best for me. I eat a little bit of candy. Helps with cravings for alcohol. I feel amazing, and I don’t sleep as much as I do when I eat like shit

I swear I'm so tired of hearing about all these diets. Best thing I ever did was cut out the noise and just track calories and adjust as I lose. Down 40 pounds with 60 more to go. All these different styles of dieting did was confuse me, for years! Lol

When I first started my health journey I went vegan cause I thought meat was making me sick. I believed the hype about meat being bad. I felt good for a while but within a year I started to have a lot less energy. By the end of being vegan I felt the worst I ever had in my life. I became keto cause vegan made me diabetic and sick. It took a while but once I got all the grains out my diet and carbs, I really started to have more energy. I have been mostly keto for a year now and I have more energy than I ever thought I would. Paired with good sleep and my training I feel so much better than I have in yrs. I’m working toward carnivore. Some days are harder than others. It’s a mental hurdle for me.
