Awesome content Krish. You beautifully summarised, upto the full extend, what a present day human can understand, about ‘life and death’. It is astonishing when you say ‘life process’ as a low entropy state in terms of physics.It’s the ultimate truth. Since inception, Life (biology) always finds ways to circumvent ‘the laws of physics’. “Entropy” might become the ultimate barrier. But this truth can occur only to someone who can understand both the worlds - ‘Biology’ and ‘Physics’. You are a genius. 🫡

Again, I have serious brain health issues. I'm not prediabetic and my doc ignored my symptoms until a cgm showed I'm hypoglycemic without diabetes. This is so critical for my mental health as mother of a toddler with at least 18 years necessary to get my daughter to her adulthood. There's one doc saying I'm bipolar, another saying possible pmdd when all it could have been is just a hypoglycemic episode. Devices bridge the gap in the lack of bandwidth the docs have to look at a problem from multiple angles

@masala lab. Please check out Prof. Michael Rose's work on ageing. Through theoretical and empirical evidence, he demonstrated how ageing could be slowed down significantly if we shifted to the diet that hunter-gatherers fed on, at the age of 35-40 years. This work is strongly backed by the theory of natural selection. Summary of the study is that we as humans are adapted to the agricultural diet until the age of 35-40 years but still maladapted to the same at ages more than 40 years. Therefore, the best combination of diet in our lives would be agricultural diets till 35-40 and the hunter-gatherer diet thereafter.

I really enjoyed the video. But I don't think the second law of thermodynamics can be applied for life (living cells). It is only applied for isolated system. Cells are not closed system as there are exchange of matter and energy.
@krishashok5 ай бұрын
Entropy applies at all levels (I meant to say third law, not second law, thus the correction text)
@ajayrobin92675 ай бұрын
In the video you have mentioned that, life is ordered and the universe is chaotic. But it is the other way round. Universe is becoming more and more chaotic (in terms of entropy). The formation of life is the consequence of increase in entropy. If life is more ordered then thermodynamically, it would be impossible for life to form.
