izzy xo No, I don’t think this is really why racism exists. Historically people have often enslaved their own people. It just happened that at the time that the Atlantic Slave Trade really took off, political movements were pushing for representation/egalitarianism/enlightenment/et cetera. So how can you make mad money off slavery while also living up to your supposed ideals? Dehumanize them and use race as the excuse. However, the underlying biases towards people “who don’t resemble you” are far older than the Atlantic slave trade and are not just seen in western cultures.

And that guilt is caused by minorities saying it's because of whites that they aren't successful which is untrue. My kids have told me about the 'guilt' they're being told they should have for being white. It IS happening. It's all over ANY media you look at. Why is the question. Who would want the 🇺🇸 to be having racial turmoil? This IS what is being pushed. Who and why? I want my girls to live IN HARMONY with all other races. But somebody wants the opposite and is pushing this crt along with many other things (like BLM, Reparations for centuries gone slavery and open borders with MILLIONS crossing into the country). We are being divided even more not less by these things. Someone is doing this INTENTIONALLY. I have my theories. It'll be up to you kids to squash this. I hope u succeed.

Destroy-er right first of all, I shake my fist at youtube for not notifying me about your... interesting comment. Now, let’s talk about your claims over slavery. Before Europeans came to Africa, taking slaves was a side bonus of war. But after they came and decided that they wanted slaves to do work for them, they decided to use the tribes to fight each other, therefore saving them the time and men of getting the slaves themselves. This means that not only the tribes are to blame, you must also blame to Europeans who came to take slaves, no matter the cost. There is a high chance of the tribes didn’t do it, they would do it themselves, which is evident after they abolished slavery, they decided to just use their land as their own through colonialism. Do you not know leopald of Belgium in the Congo? Germans in East Africa? Italians? British? French? Maybe do some research before saying I should be publicly hanged.

And they didn't "use" the tribes,one of the tribes and the Europeans made a deal with each other that they would trade goods and animals for slaves that the tribe had. And I never said the Europeans weren't to blame, I said that blacks contributed ALSO. And you can't apply modern logic to the 1600s. Slavery was normal. In those times, Europeans did nothing wrong. And almost every country began to abolish slavery around the time of the very late 1800s, not just those tribes. And I'm aware of what all those people have done, thx. From reading the comments I think it is important to point out that there is no such a thing as latinos as a race, people from latin america have a variety of cultures and customs, they vary in skin colour, they don't speak the same language, they are born in different countries with different life styles. The word latino is something that people from the U.S. created so they don't bother to know our differences, everyone of those countries beyond the mexican boarder have their own amazing culture to share and it would be nice to be recognised by nationality for once. It is quite confusing growing up peruvian and then travel to the U.S. to discover that people mixed your culture with a bunch of other cultures like scrambled eggs and consider you all the same. Do correct if I'm wrong, but I think the same thing happens with people from Asia. They are chinese, or japanese, or korean, not just Asian. However, you don't really do that to Europeans, you call french people french and german people german, now what is that about?

Cool motive, but this video is literally blaming all of black people's problems on racism ignoring the other problems that this specific race has. When one race commits a lot of crimes people tend to get defensive against them. Of course I'm not saying all black people commit crimes, but the ones that do screw up the racial image.
@PotatoCat

And when we see more people of the same race committing crimes, we begin to become afraid of them. That's what this video is trying to explain. We need to combat our own racial biases and remember that we are all just people. Sometimes, we might judge someone based on how they look, because of how media has portrayed people in the past, without even knowing it. The video is explaining that we need to fight this, so that we can break this horrible cycle.
