According to research conducted by Mark Waldman whom I'd mentioned here, "sending love" to somebody doesn't affect that person. It only affects whoever does the "sending" (because he/she gets into that particular emotional state). Sadly, too many people believe stuff blindly and spread myths around the planet.

I tried the sending love thing when i saw a really old woman walk past me on a really cold day in Glasgow with a really thin useless jacket on i dun the love sending thought thing and straight after that she tripped over a big stone and went flying face first.. i was very confused and disappointed helped her up and never dun it since. But I'm thinking it was a really unfortunate coincidence and i wasn't doing it properly. I shall try zooting the next time .

This is a lovely metaphor, but its not solid science. But just that, not that its not incorrect its simply not yet accepted dubiously regarded. Heartmath nicks a lot of their research and screams of woo.

And, he says, the emotional stuff that some people attribute to the heart is actually in the brain. There is a problem with many people: they confuse metaphors with what they really represent.
