Since her death I can't stop watching the farewell tour on KZbin. They were great in the early days but that last performance was exceptional. Judith was sensational. To me Judith was better in the twilight of her career, unbelievably so.

@@GatesheadLad23 I saw the Seekers in Birmingham twice, in the 90s for the 25 years tour then again this century when they toured again. Wonderful both times. I was born in '68 and grew up with their records but never imagined I would ever get to see them live, so it was marvelous when they reformed and Future Road came out.

Though I have not heard him attempt "Without Love". Judith here is,...just WOW! As a tribute to Judith Durham, there are times when one could tell she actually possessed a very strong, operatic voice. But as an humble, sweet soprano, Judith often held back to help the other three blend with her. She always stayed within the theme, the framework, and the flow of every song, instead of overpowering it as many women tend to do. It was Judith Durham forever imploring us to get caught up in a song, rather than be enamored with her. Perhaps that is why the audience was always enraptured by her; she drew us to her without trying to. For over 50 years the consummate professional who made the difficult look easy. You Aussies had a precious gem in your midst, a diamond polished like none other. So, remember Judith well, mates, for we Yanks shall never see nor hear the likes of her again.

I was at the Music Bowl in 1967 with my dear Mum, I saw the 25th reunion, the 50th Concert, I went to the 1994 Grand Final to see the Seekers, I saw you sing jazz and singing with the Choir of Hard Knocks. @@osvaldoschilling9129 I think you'd be wasting your time because Australia ( which is where I am now ) is closed to tourists, and probably will be until early 2022. And added to the fact that their UK concerts of 2014 will probably be their last. Sad to say, but that's the way it goes.

While my brothers were trying to get me to listen to Hawkwind, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath as a child in the early '70s, I alway preferred the clarity and simplicity of the beautiful voice of Judith Durham and The Seekers that Mum and Dad had in their record collection. So sad that Judith has now passed away but I'm sure she's singing with the angels now. This song always bought a tear to my and is now even more poignant. Thanks for helping provide with me some lovely childhood memories of listening to all those Seekers tunes.

first heard them back in the 60's as a young man. this was when Elvis was jumping around (who was no slouch in the voice department himself).. WHO ARE these people were my first thoughts. incredibly ahead of their time. well I found out WHO they were. pretty much in a class all by themselves. I asked my Mom to listen to this (had a hard time finding them in stores at the time). she was blown away. she said I was growing up... too fast. another woman I enjoy is Sissel.. cut from the same cloth as Judith. listen to her as well you will NOT regret it. and just as gracious as well. two beautiful artists what more could this world of ours ask for?
