Unfortunately kids nowadays will never get these experiences. This was a time when technology was rapidly advancing, everything was so new. No social media just human connections and real moments spent with those people. Seeing a few pictures in a magazine and letting your imagine run wild for a new game. Man what times to live, truly blessed are the 80-90 kids.

I'm a kid from nowadays, and I dig this kind of stuff! I own a SNES Classic Mini, a Gamecube, a Wii, a 2DS that can play DS games, and I have the online expansion for the Switch so I can play NES, SNES, Gameboy, Sega, and N64 games!

Tyler was the cutest kid in the 90s! Man I hope someday I have a kid like that! Can't believe he is a father now. Amazing to see this kid become such a wonderful parent like his dad.

ok, for ultra man, on the super nintendo, beat the monster untill you have level 4, then use the level 4 attack when the word finish is there. boom the monster is dead and explodes
@jaxxh652911 ай бұрын
that takes a long time for me to find out. the booklet was the only information. my sister sed wow. when she says out loud this must be done with l4 so i thought level 4 weapon. and finish it. when it says "finish" select with l or r, the level 4 the plasma shot and use it with the y butten. the enemy monster burns and then explodes ka-boom

In 1989 we got our first Nintendo for Christmas but my cousin got the Sega Genesis. We played his Genesis a lot and at the time had some really cool exclusives. In 1993 I got the Super Nintendo and was blown away by the graphics and how much better it looked and sounded than the Sega Genesis, the Sega CD came out, then the 32X. The 16-Bit wars will never be forgotten.

It was nothing like being a 90s kid. It was the best decade I tell all the boys I mentor you guys are growing up in the worst time humanly possible …wow this video really hit close to home for me. I remember in Christmas of 92 which every year I was averaging like 75 presents from my mom and dad. They took two big Macy’s boxes and soon as I opened them I was mad but I didn’t say anything because I thought it was clothing but they were heavy as hell and when I moved the shirts from both boxes, they had 23 games in those boxes I was screaming like a maniac thank you so much for this. It was awesome. rip dad

As much as I like video games, I am glad that they weren't popular until I was around 10 years old. Christmas in the 70s with all the cool toys that were available was much cooler than in the 90s.

Either really paid back then, or always in debt but as a kid he wouldn't of ever known it. At the end of the day all the games in the world can't replace a happy and united home unfortunately. As someone born in '79 these videos certainly bring back memories.

I was a 2000’s kid but it doesn’t change the fact I remember Christmas being a truly magical time as a kid and it still is. A time of year when families come together and you can just focus on enjoying the holidays. A day where any personal problems just seem to fade away.

I dont remember getting any Genesis games that Xmas. I'd gotten Sonic on launch day that summer. I asked for Shining in the Darkness, but didnt get it. I had just gotten my SNES back in September and asked for several games since all I had was Mario World at that point. I did get Super Ghouls N Ghosts, Super R-Type, Super Castlevania 4, and F-Zero. Was HIGHLY disappointed in R-Type since the game had perma-slow down. Early shooters on the SNES usually all did.

On a unrelated note, I was just thinking about how difficult 8/16 bit games were. Nowadays when u think of difficult gam3 developers most who know would probably say fromsoft and soulslike games, but in those days nothing was more horrifying than......DISNEY!! those most kid freindly brand came out with the most nightmatishly difficult games I can remember!! Lion king, alladin, toy story those 3 games were titles where I never saw past the first 3 levels if I was lucky!! I always though as an adult that maybe the difficulty was just due to my young age, NOPE! it's just hard in general..theres is part in the 1st or 2nd level.of lion king where theses nightmare monkies juggle ur ass around in a "puzzle" type of sequence that was literally IMPOSSIBLE to figure out unless u had a cheat magazine.. I mean when i finally saw the correct sequence as a adult I thought "were they freaking high!?! WHY would u ever put such a dizzying puzzle in the 1st level of a children's game??!?!? I mean seriously the correct sequence of that monkey part had to be made to literally drive ppl insane, and it was almost to the point where the game felt broken or that some glitch was blocking the progression path!! Iv heard more then a few ppl say they assumed the code in the game was wonky or that they thought their cartridge was a "lemon" simply because nobody could fathom why such a impossible puzzle would purposefully be put so early in the game!?!? It HAD to be a glitch!!right?? RIGHT!?!? Then once someone FINALLY figured it out n u found it IT WAS ON PURPOSE and there isn't anything wrong with the game, it literally put u in one of those moods where u stopped playing from feeling bullied and made a fool of!!sometimes for weeks, months or sometimes FOREVER!! it's just like "this game was laughing at me for months!! F*** you lion king" (throws cartridge in trash,pours lighter fluid and ignites match). "I JUST CANT WAIT TO BE KIIINNG!!!" NOOOOOOOO!! I JUST CANT WAIT FOR U TO BUURRRRRN, DIE PUZZLE MONKIES!! DIE!!!! STOP LAUGHING AT ME AND THROWING ME AROUND LIKE A RAGDOLL!!!DIE MONKIES JUST DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!!!!!.....................arhmmm......I apologize for my outburst.... see the unreasonable emotions it brings out in me as a 32 year old man! I can only imagine all the mental health those damn juggle monkies just broke. All the minds that went insane seeing those monkies throw u left, right, up,left and the spikes u down to the ground where u started, over n over n over again! Then I finally figure it out only to encounter another set of juggle monkies that juggle throws ur Ass in a different sequence!! Smh.

That wasn't very nice of you when you said, "I couldn't care less about the cookies, look what I'm holding in my hands!" What if you barged into your mother's room in '92 and she said, "I couldn't care less about your video games, son. Look what I've got in my mouth!" 😮 of course it would come out garbled as a stood over her 😂
