The Sims 3 - Functional Restaurant With Mods

In this video I show you how to create a fully functional restaurant in The Sims 3 using mods.

You don't really need any mods. Just put a food synthesizer from Into the Future in ANY community lot and it will generate waiters and add the interaction to order food to all tables on that lot. I love TS3 but I wished we got a fully fledged restaurant system.

@@LitrallyAJ its like… once i started and got like waaay too deep into it and put hours and hours in, i realized that like originally i only wanted to add a few lots that sunset was missing , but then the more i did the more i was like the aesthetic of the town doesnt really match what i want and its like damn do i stop or do i redo the whole thing cuz this is not what i signed up for

Mine doesn't have the waiter option :( i have all things in the description installed. UPDATE: I got it to work! Just accidentally had the mod still in the rar (compressed) form, so I extracted it, then put the new package file into mods folder. Thanks for this video!

Are the nonplayable townies autonomously used the restaurant or will it be just empty?

They will autonomously eat outside. You could also use Nraas debugger I believe to remove the ability to eat inside which will make them eat outside even more frequently.

Waiter won't show up, it keeps saying not assigned and I don't have the nraas option on waiter as you do.... if anyone had the same problem and fixed it please let me know

I have had that happen at times, and unfortunately i do not know of a fix. For me it just took some time for the game to fill the waiter position. After a waiter spawned I was able to set my own using register.

That’s odd! Do you have any other mods that make changes to the rabbit holes? That’s the only explanation I can think of.

There are way more easier ways to have functional restaurant. They just have to download the store content Business as unusual Bistro to have a functional restaurant. You can even be a Chief with mods and have waitress

I don’t like the bistro set so I don’t use it and I know many who also don’t like it.

@@unapologetic2992 it’s not awful and I could see how people would prefer it over this, but something about it just doesn’t work for me lol. I love Sims 2 restaurants though so I’d love a way for sims 3 ones to be that epic.

@@LitrallyAJ it's true that it's not as flesh out as TS2 but with mod such as Ani and Fantuanss12's Professional over mod it's comes pretty close.
